I got up asked Yos.h.i.+no to go back to cla.s.s because I still had cakes to make and orders to do.

When I got home, I continued where I left off but couldn't concentrate, luckily I was busy making tarts and it did not need my full attention.

I showed up and he was already waiting there.

"I asked you to have lunch with me because we need to talk."

"I am sorry for the way I carried on yesterday, I hope you can forgive me I did not expect that the problem was so serious and my daughter was the cause."

Me: "I understand."

"I spoke to her and she said she was going to apologize to your son yesterday, I forgot to ask her yesterday about it, I arrived late at home."

Me: "Mn, Yos.h.i.+no said she apologized."

"I'm hoping you could forgive her too."

Me: "I can forgive your daughter, but I cannot forgive your wife and the other women."

The man sighed and I could see that he was slightly conflicted, he stayed silent for a moment and was about to speak but I interrupted him.

Me: "I'm not a s.l.u.t."

He looked at me a bit surprised and said, "I wasn't thinking that."

I smiled and continued: "Their father and I were supposed to get married when I turned 20 but when I was 15 he started sleeping with someone else, I lied to him and told him I had an abortion and him and his family kicked me out of the house. He was the only person I slept with, and I don't plan to sleep with anyone in the future, I have my kids that keep me company, so I'm not looking for a male partner."

I looked him in the eyes and said: "So I'm sorry I can't forgive your wife for slandering me, even if she apologizes, those words your daughter said scratched at my children's souls and that is unforgivable."

The man had a guilty expression on his face and smiled bitterly, I think he knew that this was irreversible and decided not to continue this conversation.

Pity was written all over his face but I left him, we became friends after this and he is one of my biggest supporters, he helped my business expand by getting me clients and being there for my children, whenever myself and my family couldn't.

The next story I'm about to tell you is to date the worst.

So over the years, while raising my children, I would bake here and there for people.

My business flourished a month before my babies turned 10 years old but it wasn't always so.

When they were five years old, my female cousin from my father's side would always help now and again.

She was married and had two kids.

So my family was invited to a wedding, but this party was across town 3 hours away and I was asked to make the wedding cake and treats.

I agreed, but I told my family that I will only leave the Sat.u.r.day morning and return home Sat.u.r.day evening because I did not believe in, "you have to take your kids with", I know my mother, brothers and father were going to be with but I refused.

I believed that when you travel, your kids need to stay home and you as their parent should know that you can't travel too far of a distance and leave your kids by someone else for too long.

I was 21 and I had my drivers license.

I could drive and be back home in time to put my kids to bed.

So my I asked my cousin to babysit and I told her I would be back early.

Anyways, I left and returned that night at 10 pm.

I know it was late, there were a few setbacks but I fixed them and returned.

So when I arrived my kids were still up watching tv and still said to my cousin, thank you for looking after them and gave her some money.

I get into the car and my children tell me they are hunger!

They were there basically the whole day and didn't eat anything besides the food lunch I made for them before I left, so they were sitting for literally 10 hours with nothing in their stomach!

My children are 3 5-year-olds that are still growing and this b.i.t.c.h doesn't feed them?

My blood boiled but okay.

I calmed my children down and drove to McDonald's and ordered 50 hamburgers and bought water at a convenience store for them to drink.

Why water?

It's f.u.c.kin almost 11 pm and they need something to drink and not fizzy cold drinks.

Anyways, so I drove back to this b.i.t.c.h's house and banged on her door like I was the d.a.m.n police.

All of them woke up and her husband opened the door for me.

I pushed past him and smacked his wife.

He pulled me back and asked me what my problem was and I told them s.h.i.+t!

"How the f.u.c.k can the two of you go to bed with filled stomachs and leave 3 5-year-olds hungry. You cooked food, dished up, placed a plate in your husbands' hands and in your children's hands but can't even give my children a slice of b.u.t.ter bread and water? You must remember today! Everytime you left your children by my house, I would get up even though I was exhausted and cooked for them a proper meal, they never left my house hungry, I'm telling you now, you don't go and leave your children again by my house, I will kick them out into the street."

I pushed her husband aside and left when I got into the car, my children were asleep.

After we got home, I put them to sleep and started crying, I swore to myself that never again, will I trust someone with my children.
