"Rie, let's fight together this time as a family."

Rie opens her mouth slightly to refuse him. Fighting against DH? Risking Yuta's and his life? She will never do that.

He covers her mouth before she can refuse him. "I know that it's dangerous. But are you sure that they will let him go if they are truly interested in him?"

Yuta shakes his head. It's more like that he won't let go of DH or the leader. He will uproot DH as he did it in his previous life. Then, he will look for that woman who didn't even have the decency to tell him why she killed him before she shot him with a lovely smile on her face.

"Being in a DH doesn't mean that you can't have a life. If it's never found out who is Instant, you can still live as Umezaki Rie," Kiyohira tells her quietly. Trusting the police? He doesn't want to make the same mistake as last time.  "Let's think carefully. There might be some way. If there's none, we will make one together."

There's already one way. Yuta has already thought of it. DH won't change its laws. If the person leaves, only death awaits for that person. He will just wipe out DH. It's a secret, but the current leader is also a member in the DH. If the other four members die, n.o.body will know who Instant is.

Yuta smirks. He will use DH's laws against them. He mumbles to himself, "Father, Mother, I will make sure that you live a happy life this time."

"It's not safe here. Leave this place with Yuta and come to live with me." His father is trying to convince his mother. Yuta also thinks that it's a good idea. If his mother lives with his father, then she will definitely become famous as the lady of the Kamiyama family. It will be a bit more difficult for DH to move against her. It's definitely better than living in this house where she can be approached by that man anytime. Besides, she's safe as long as she doesn't try to leave DH or get caught. His mother never got caught in his previous life. He's confident in her skills. 

"But..." What Kiyohira saying is right. She can live with Kiyohira and Yuta until she's caught or killed. She's not a fugitive yet. If they never find out who Instant is, she can live her life with him and Yuta.

"We will face it together." Kiyohira looks into her eyes. "For our son. DH isn't invincible. Chisa wasn't invincible either. We will think of their weaknesses together."

Rie is hesitant, but she decides to take the chance. 

Chisa was able to get to her because Kiyohira and she fought amongst themselves. DH used that to their advantage. There's no telling what they can do in the future. 

She wants to live with Kiyohira and her son as a family. 

"Kiyohira." She wants to believe that there's hope for her. "Let's fight until the end."

Kiyohira lets out a breath of relief. She's taking a step toward him. He will wait until she comes all the way. He won't act like before. Their relations.h.i.+p needs time to develop. She might have feelings for him, but she needs time.

Her cheeks are slightly red. She must be cold. How long they have been talking in this biting cold like abnormal people? They aren't even wearing their coats. He rubs her cold hands to warm them up. "Let's go inside. Yuta has been waiting for a long time."

"Yes, he must be worried." It's hard to tell whether the cause of the rednesses of her face is due to the cold or Kiyohira's heartwarming gaze. The love in those eyes and the smile that he only shows to her... It's not that she didn't see it before. Five years ago, she knew that he loved her. She even tried to take advantage of that fact against Chisa. She showed off during their wedding. 

But the doubts in her mind made it impossible for her to believe that he could love someone like her. 

They are different from each other. They even have Yuta now. Love might not be enough, but it's definitely the foundation to build their lives together. 

Yuta grins ear to ear. He walks back to the bedroom and closes the door soundlessly. He lies down on the bed and stretches his body, rolling from one end to another end. He hears his parents' footsteps walking toward his room. When the door opens, his mother steps inside first with bright eyes and a mellow smile. "Yuta, what were you doing?"

"Waiting for you, Mother." He spreads his arms. "Hug me."

She chuckles before she embraces her son. "From now on, all of us will live together."

"Really?" Yuta widens his eyes in surprise. His parents can't see through his pretense. He asks in excitement, "Are we going to live with Uncle Takes.h.i.+ too?"

"Yes, all of us will live together." Rie guesses that Yuta likes his Uncle too. It's not hard to like Takes.h.i.+. Takes.h.i.+ is approachable compared to Kiyohira. It's a hard truth.

Kiyohira watches his wife and son. He notices Yuta acts more like a child to his mother, but he's different toward others. Sensing his piercing gaze, his son looks at him and shows him a childlike-toothy smile. It's too late to act like a little boy to Kiyohira. Still, he walks to them and hugs them, pressing Yuta between them.

Little Yuta is sandwiched between them. "I can't breathe, Mother, Father."

Laughing, Rie kisses her son's cheek. Kiyohira kisses his son's other cheek. 

'Argh! I wanted them to kiss and makeup - not kiss me and makeup.'

A crimson hue spreads on his cheek, embarra.s.sed by their actions while feeling warm and adored by them.
