Luke Jansen turned around to face me. "What do you want to discuss with me?"

I licked my lips and straightened my back on the chair, "help me find a company that will handle my investments for me."

Luke Jansen raised his eyebrow. "In short, you'll use the company to invest for you under the pretext of the company's name, but the one who'll gain profit is you and at the same time, maintaining your privacy. Hitting two birds with one stone."

I smiled sweetly at him, "you know me too well."

Luke Jansen chuckled, "what is it for the company?"

"Profit," I said nonchalantly.

"Ten percent on every investment you make and two years' free consultation." Luke Jansen sat down on his chair, motioning to Fredrick Lang about something.

"Deal."

Luke Jansen was startled for a moment. He didn't expect that I would just agree without putting any resistance. He stared at me with probing eyes.

"Uncle Luke."

I still felt a bit hesitant calling him 'Uncle', but every time I called him 'Mr.', his eyes would dim, his brows furrowed. So when I started to call him 'Uncle' instead, his eyes would somewhat glint and his brows no longer furrowed.

"My goal has already been achieved. Now, I just want to spend every day doing the things that I wanted to do."

Uncle Luke gave me a condescending face. "It's not good to have no ambition."

"It's not good to be too greedy," I recoiled.

"It's a sin to be too lazy," he retorted with a grin on his face.

I smiled prettily at him. "With the list of things you've given me to do. I'm afraid I won't commit a sin anytime soon."

AHAHAHA!

His laughter echoed, and I laughed together with him.

The next day, I didn't know what Uncle Luke said to our Dean. I was brought into the Dean's office right after I entered the school. The Dean said that it was alright for me not to attend cla.s.sed and just appeared from time to time and in major exams.

Uncle Luke sure works fast.

Months pa.s.sed by as my daily life changed for the better. I learned things that I wanted to learn in my previous life.

My daily routine, I woke up at five in the morning doing Yoga and Zumba until six, and after that, I would go straight to our ranch just across the street to study martial arts accompanied by shooting and horse riding. Then go back again in our house and went directly to our pool for the swimming lessons.

I usually ate breakfast at around eight or nine then went to cla.s.s. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I would study etiquette and language after school. During Sat.u.r.days, I would study piano in the morning and cooking in the afternoon.

Everything I did, my brothers also did it together with me.

With that, years pa.s.sed as the seasons come and go.
