Warm moist lips softly landed on mine.

The kiss was gentle and sweet like he was afraid to hurt me.

He retracted and gazed at me. His nose, rubbing against mine. His lips, hovered in front of mine. I was intoxicated in breathing the same air as him. And for a while, we just stared at each other, wanting to savor this moment for some more time. Wanting this moment to last forever.

In my previous life, I never like kissing nor s.e.x. I never known the pleasure of it. Tristan was always the one who derived pleasure from it. He didn't bother to understand what could please me nor arouse me. Never once did I come nor satisfied with our s.e.x life.

But this man, his expressionless cold, indifferent face that could sometimes scares me. This arrogant, overbearing man that could make me s.h.i.+vered and rattled so many times – just made me satisfied in breathing the same air as him. He made me felt please and warm with his gentle kisses and hugs.

He made me want for more.

Cain, sensing my desires, pressed his lips to mine once again. He slowly and gently bit my lower lip.

I groaned.

"Cain..."

He licked my lips before gently sucking them as if teasing me.

"Cain... please...." I beg him.

He gave me what I wanted.

He tilted his head as his tongue slid into my mouth. I greedily welcomed the intrusion. Our tongue intertwined like lost lovers meeting again after centuries of parting. We bit and sucked hard fiercely, hungrily at each other.

I tried to match him, trying to please him like he pleases me – but found myself dizzy and gasping for air instead.

I forgot to breathe from the intensity and wildness of his kiss!

Before I could pa.s.s out, he withdrew his tongue and started to gently nibbled my lips, allowing me to take in several breathes of air before he plunged his tongue back inside my mouth once more.

We continued to be lost inside our own world… until I quivered from droplets of cold water.

We reluctantly parted, both gasping for air. I was still holding onto his neck. My legs long ago lost its strength.

"It's going to rain... Let's get you home." He said with a pained voice, reluctance in his frosty eyes.

I hesitated. Nevertheless, I still nodded my head.

I didn't know how it happened, but we seemed to magically arrived at my condo.

Time does fly when you're happy.

I glanced at the cold man beside me.

I don't want to part yet!

"That's right, Cain your trench coat." I kept my voice calm and even, not wanting him to notice that I was stalling for time with him.

"Your trench coat is in my room, why don't you come up with me to get it?"

Realizing what I just said, my face instantly heated up.

I panicked and waved my hands frantically.

"D-don't get me wrong!! I didn't mean anything by that!"

Cain chuckled.

"I know."

We got off his car, and he guided me towards the elevator.

Still embarra.s.sed, I didn't dare to look at his teasing eyes.

I was about to swipe my card into the electronic machine when Cain pulled out a platinum card and inserted it into an exclusive, private card slot.

Instantly, the penthouse level lit up.

I blinked several times, wanting to know if my eyes were playing tricks on me, then I turned to look questioningly at the man.
