Chapter 102: Why Are Nian Junting and Lu Kang here?

“The third row is already perfect. If it wasn’t for you, we might not even be able to get in here,” said Luosang. Once she finished talking, Huo Fei reminded Chi Shengxu, “Shengxu, Mr. Shen from Star Music and Culture is here, Director Zhang wants you to go say hi to him.”
Luosang turned to where Huo Fei was looking at, saw two men and a woman walking over. The gorgeously dressed lady was none other than Ye Chuen, who didn’t join her roommates today.
“I think that’s the boss of her music company. Chuen has a solid background indeed, that she’s actually standing by Mr. Shen’s side,” sighed Tang Ning.
“Huo Fei, take these girls to their seats. I’ll go say hi to those people,” Chi Shengxu frowned slightly, then said to Luosang, “Luosang, don’t leave after the premiere. You and your friends can stay for the party. Some professionals are here today, I’ll introduce them to you.”
After saying that, he turned and left in a hurry, without waiting for Luosang to respond.
“Is he really introducing us to the professionals?” Said Tang Ning excitedly, “He’s so nice. If some director noticed us, we wouldn’t need to try so hard.”

About ten minutes before the release, Ye Chuen walked elegantly to the third row with her little purse. “I was going to say hi to you in the backstage, but my boss made me focus on the sponsors,” she said to her roommates.
“It’s alright,” Luosang smiled and responded.
“Chuen, you’re amazing. They’ve introduced you to so many people,” said Tang Ning.
“That’s because Mr. Shen is generous,” Ye Chuen smiled and said, “I must stay for the party later, or I’d be able to drive you back to the dorm. This place is quite far away from the school, so it’s might be a little inconvenient for you to go back.”
Luosang and Yan Su glanced at each other. Tang Ning hesitated shortly, then said, “Chi Shengxu invited us to the party as well.”
Ye Chuen paused slightly, and her smile froze for a moment on her pretty face. “He did? Then we should leave together after the party. My seat is in the middle of the first row, see you.”
As she turned, two tall figures walked over from the VIP access. The man at the front was wearing a dark-green suit and a black s.h.i.+rt, looking straight and st.u.r.dy, radiating a cold and manly vibe.
Ye Chuen blinked, as she thought that she was confusing this man with someone else.
As she suddenly paused, Luosang and the other two all turned to where she has been looking at. And then, Luosang gave a start, wondering why would Nian Junting and Lu Kang be here.
“So handsome,” Tang Ning paused, then murmured, “Who are they?”
Ye Chuen glanced at her, then abruptly gave a smile and walked to Nian Junting.
“Junting…” she said.
Nian Junting was looking around from the corners of his eyes. As Ye Chuen walked to him along with a strong fragrance, he knitted his brows and asked, “You are…”
“Junting, I’m Chuen,” the smile on Ye Chuen’s face faded slightly as she responded with embarra.s.sment, “We haven’t seen each other in years, so it’s normal that you didn’t recognize me.”
“Ah, you,” Nian Junting nodded and said, “I have good memory, so normally I won’t forget anyone I’ve met. Your makeup is too thick, that’s why I didn’t recognize you.”
Lu Kang’s mouth corner twitched as his boss was saying mean words again.
Ye Chuen was barely maintaining the smile on her face.
“Where’s aunty? Why isn’t she here? I need to thank her for talking to Mr. Shen for me. Thanks to her, I’m releasing my first alb.u.m now.”
“Are you gonna be a singer?” Nian Junting raised his eyebrows and said, “has the standard of singers lowered so much already?”
He remembered that both Luosang and Yan Su had much better voices than Ye Chuen did.
Ye Chuen honestly didn’t know how to continue this conversation.
