“My heart is aching.” Luosang couldn’t help but raise her head and bite his neck. She didn’t bite him hard but still left teeth marks on his skin. “It’s just a gift. Who told you to spend so much money on it?”
“You’re so stingy,” Nian Junting complained but also gave a big smile. He thought she had a deep affection for Chi Shengxu, but it turned out that she wasn’t even willing to spend 40,000 on him. If he had known this, he wouldn’t have argued with her yesterday.
“You say that because you’ve never been poor. Do you know for ordinary people how huge a present that is worth 40,000 can be?” Luosang sighed. “Even though you’re rich, you shouldn’t spend money like that.”
“You gave my wallet back to me,” Nian Junting snorted.
Luosang reached out a hand toward him and said, “Give me your wallet. I’ll be keeping it until we’re back in China.”

Nian Junting frowned. How could he wear possibly wear those sports shoes? What if he ran away in those shoes? What a silly woman. “As I said, you can’t give him Uggs. I’ve already made a step backward,” Nian Junting said with a frown. “Luo, think about how Chi Shengxu and his family took care of you. You can’t be so stingy.”
Luosang bit her lip and nodded. Sports shoes were shoes as well, so she guessed that Chi Shengxu would accept them. However, why was the situation a little weird? In the end, it was Nian Junting who persuaded her. “But next time, you can’t delete my WeChat friends,” she said.
