The sound of running water could be heard from the kitchen. She mustered the bit of rationality left in her and stuttered, “Sister Lan… she’s still in the kitchen.”

“It’s ok, can’t you hear the water running? She’s still was.h.i.+ng the dishes,” Nian Junting said as he kissed her with even more force.

Luosang was like a little kitten buried in his chest.

The apartment was so small, even with the water running, she could hear their conversation.
