The next morning…

As the sun slowly rose over the horizon, the soft light pierced through the curtains, kissing the skin of the sleeping girl on the bed.

The room was bright, fresh and quiet. After a short while, the sleeping girl had started to move.

Her lashes fluttered like b.u.t.terfly wings before she opened her eyes. She rubbed her eyes for a bit and stared at the ceiling, her fingers pressing her temples.

'Hm? Where am I?' she thought as she started looking around. When she turned her head to her right side, she was surprised to see Yu Chen sitting – or more like sleeping, on the chair just beside her bed, facing her.

Her eyes immediately widened and she rose to sit up. Her brows creased as she tried to remember what had happened last night.

She remembered herself drinking with Davi and Hinari and then after that… everything seemed to turn blurry. It seemed like she had drunk too much that she had a black out.

What happened last night? Why is Yu Chen sleeping on the chair? How long had he been sleeping like that?

Luo Xiaolei looked at him again and felt bad to see him sleeping like that so she slowly hopped off the bed and walked towards him. The G.o.dly creature was just so blindingly gorgeous as usual despite him sleeping in an uncomfortable position. His dark hair looked at bit messy and was hiding a part of his eyes, and she just loved the sight of him. His beauty would always stun her mind no matter what situation he was in and Luo Xiaolei somehow felt like his ethereal look wasn't something she would ever grow accustomed to.

Clenching the blanket in her hands, Luo Xiaolei sighed, fighting the urged to pinch his cheeks. She then slowly lifted her hands and was about to put on the blanket on him when…

Yu Chen's eyes suddenly opened.

"Good morning," Yu Chen immediately greeted her, waking Luo Xiaolei's dazed cells back to life.

"G-good morning. Why… why are you sleeping on that?" she asked, sounding a bit worried.

When Yu Chen just innocently blinked at her, Luo Xiaolei didn't know why but the way this man looked at her suddenly made her feel somewhat guilty.

"You… don't remember what happened last night?" he asked hesitantly and Luo Xiaolei creased her brows.

She fell silent for a moment before she shook her head.

"I… see," he uttered and then, he abruptly averted his gaze. His reaction made Luo Xiaolei's eyes narrow and when she noticed that Yu Chen's ears seemed to have turned a bit red, her mouth hung open.

W-why is he… did his ears just flush red? Oh G.o.d, did I do something to him last night?

"Could it be that I kicked you out of the bed the last night?" Luo Xiaolei tried to stay unaffected but Yu Chen just glanced at her and looked away again, rendering Luo Xiaolei speechless.

T-this man… why are you acting like this? You're not just killing me with curiosity now… you're killing me with all your expressions right now!! What's with those… with those adorable…. Excessively cute shy gaze and blus.h.i.+ng ears?!!! You want my nose to bleed early in the morning?!

Luo Xiaolei would have never expected this man of all people to act like this. No matter what might have had happened last night, it was just too hard for her to believe that this Yu Chen was suddenly being shy and even blus.h.i.+ng like this!

The man's eyes flickered and then he spoke. "No, you are right. My face and ears just feel hot right now so i guess I am indeed, blus.h.i.+ng... that's why I…"

Luo Xiaolei choked. She suddenly coughed in front of Yu Chen, causing the man to quickly move and pat her back.

"What happened? Are you alright?" he asked and Luo Xiaolei almost wanted to scold him hard. How could this man even… even admit something like this? Was there no limit of his honesty at all? Was there no limit of just how cute he could become?!

The struggle not to jump at him and just squeeze him and cuddle him at that moment was so real for Luo Xiaolei. She thought that he was only getting more and more irresistible by the day and she was afraid that she might no longer be able to take it if he leveled up again.

"I'm fine. I'm just…" Luo Xiaolei quickly calmed herself and had finally stopped coughing when she lifted her face to look at him. But the first thing her eyes saw made her felt like a series of lightning bolts had struck her all at once.

When she saw Yu Chen's neck filled with hickeys, she instantly froze.

Yu Chen immediately noticed her suddenly becoming still so he followed her line of sight.

"What… who did that to you?" she asked but Yu Chen simply stared at her. Without saying a word, he just looked at her with those dark innocent eyes.

Luo Xiaolei swallowed. "W-was it me?" she pointed her forefinger to herself and the moment the man nodded, a memory from last night started to appear in her head.
