Xiaolei was speechless. She didn't think that this husband of hers would actually tell her that he wanted to punish her. Well, this big panda was her innocent angel… how could he actually punish her?!

Somehow, Xiaolei was curious and intrigued on how would this little angel punish her. Oh gosh, Xiaolei… are you actually a m.a.s.o.c.h.i.s.t or something?!! You're actually antic.i.p.ating your punishment?!!

Unable to believe herself, Xiaolei facepalmed in her mind.

"H-hubby… you really want to punish me?" she asked, pouting at him.

Yu Chen was silent for a moment but in the end, he nodded and he was serious. Something that was such a big surprise to Xiaolei. She really couldn't imagine this man of all people punis.h.i.+ng her!

"But I'm not going to punish you here. I'll punish you once we're home." He said, still looking d.a.m.n serious that Xiaolei actually felt her throat dried up. Oh gos.h.!.+ W-when did this panda bun become like this? Why did the air around him suddenly… suddenly become this overbearing?!

Xiaolei always knew that Yu Chen had a naturally cold and authoritative aura. People around him always felt intimidated by him even if he was just there, standing without doing anything. He had always been a dominating man, especially in the business world. But Xiaolei never once felt being dominated by him. He had been such an adorable, tamed and innocent panda to her since the first time they met in this second life of hers. He was never the forceful one and he never once tried to control her. But now, why did she suddenly feel intimidated? Was it because he's really going to punish her, for real?! T-this panda?!

As Xiaolei was struggling to compose herself, a noise coming from her room broke the silence between them.

Once she looked behind, Juu was already standing there, yawning like a cat.

"Good morning…" he greeted, monotonously.

"G-good morning Juu." Xiaolei took advantage of the interruption and pulled away from Yu Chen.

"Are we going home now?" he asked and Xiaolei slowly turned to look at Yu Chen who was still sitting there. And she didn't know why but her heart actually started accelerating. Oh G.o.d, what's going on?! Am I nervous?!!

But the moment Xiaolei looked at his face, she was again rendered speechless. It was because the panda was already back to normal.

"Xiaolei, we're going home now, right?" he even asked so innocently as usual, causing Xiaolei to just blinked at him. It took her nearly a minute before she could respond.

"Oh, yes… we're going back now. But we have to eat first. You two didn't even eat breakfast yet." She said and the three of them finally stepped out of the suite and went to the restaurant.

Xiaolei was staring at Yu Chen the entire time. She couldn't stop thinking about that feeling she felt from him a while ago. However, the longer she watched him just being his usual adorable self, Xiaolei started to doubt herself until in the end, she thought that she was just actually imagining too much.

Well, she found it hard to believe or even imagine this cute panda of hers doing anything out of his character! Thus, just like that, Xiaolei shook his head and forced herself to forget about it.

"Hubby, do you want to visit a store with me before our flight home?" she then asked smiling at him and of course, without even asking where, Yu Chen was quick to nod.

After their meal, Xiaolei brought Yu Chen to the City's most luxurious jewelry store. The store was known for making wedding rings and engagement rings for famous and ultra-rich people around the world.

She pulled Yu Chen inside without telling him anything so Yu Chen thought that Xiaolei would only buy some jewelries as some sort of souvenir.

However, he was surprised when an old man came and personally took the sizes of their ring fingers.

Yu Chen looked at his wife with wide eyes and Xiaolei simply smiled at him.

"I realized that I need a proof to show to everyone that I'm already taken. This wife of yours is beautiful you see?" she grinned at him mischievously. "And most importantly, you are too beautiful, my husband. I need to mark you as well to drive any pest away from you. I know rings might not enough for some leeches but at least, everyone will know that someone already owned you."

Somehow, this made Yu Chen's inner mood elevated. This obviously made him happy.

Unfortunately, they couldn't get the rings right away. The designer said that it will take time to finish a masterpiece so they had to wait.

The couple then left the store and its finally time for them to leave.

Xiaolei was cuddling Yu Chen inside the plain when Yu Chen suddenly did something surprising in the middle of their conversation. They were talking about Lu Xiaotian and the others when Yu Chen suddenly peeled her away from him.

The man kneeled before her took her hand, causing Xiaolei to look at him with wide eyes.

"Xiaolei… I know this is late but I still want to put this on you." he said as he gazed at her with those deep-as-ocean eyes of his before he brought out a diamond ring.

Xiaolei immediately gaped at him. She didn't expect this at all!

"I'm sorry, I was planning to put this on you when I proposed to you in Scarlet Hill but…"

"B-but?"

"I actually forgot. I was too happy when you said yes that I completely forgot about the ring." He confessed as he put the ring on her and Xiaolei's mouth fall opened. She was speechless. He actually forgot? Way to go my dear panda!!

But at that moment, Xiaolei was extremely happy. She was fascinated with the ring. She could tell that it was something special.

"It's beautiful." She uttered, her eyes sparkling as she looked at it.

"I'm glad you liked it. That's our family's heirloom. My grandpa said, that's the same engagement ring his father gave to his wife." He said, surprising Xiaolei once again.

"Thank you." was all Xiaolei said as she jumped on him and kissed him hard. She was so happy. She never expected that this man would surprise her like this.

When their lips parted after a long pa.s.sionate kiss, Yu Chen made her lean her head on his chest as he bent and whispered in her ear.

"Take a rest for now my wife. You must get a proper rest because I still need to punish you once we reach home."

Xiaolei: "!!!"
