The CEO's Lovely Wife Chapter 122 - 122 Hubby Meets Rong'er (Part I)

The sun was s.h.i.+ning brightly in the sky decorated with a few clouds pa.s.sing by. There were also occa.s.sional airplanes flying, accompanied by flocks of birds. Beautiful skycr.a.p.ers stood tall so proudly with every turn under this beautiful sky. It looked peaceful.

However, this kind of peacefulness did not reach some places, like the one that a.s.sistant Yu was in. He looked at this scenic view with envy and heartache. His back was already soaked with cold sweat, the same with his handkerchief that it almost seemed like water will come out of it if wrung.

Then, his whole body s.h.i.+vered all of a sudden. It felt like someone's eyes were looking at him, almost burning a hole on his body. a.s.sistant Yu sighed a millionth time in helplessness and timidly looked at his boss. He gulped loudly as he shrank his neck while waiting for his boss to open his golden mouth. 

Lexus looked somber as his piercing cold eyes rested for a while on his a.s.sistant. He thought if he should let a.s.sistant Yu run a background check on this Ma Rong guy. However, if his wife will know of what he did, she might now like it and will get angry at him, worst, she might hate him for it. So, regretfully, he dropped this idea and sighed again. 

"Send my wife some fruits. Get her the freshest and sweetest gr.a.p.es." Lexus finally said after a long time of silence, sounding cold and overbrearing. Unknown to him, his heavy stare was like a torture to a.s.sistant Yu this whole time.

In his tone, he seemed like he said something so important as his face were filled with all seriousness. There was no room for a.s.sistant Yu to not accept his young master's obviously one-sided "request."

"Yes, young master." a.s.sistant Yu replied and opened his phone to contact someone to buy some gr.a.p.es for him. With this, he will be able to get things done on his young madam's side while he was still serving his young master. While he was calling the driver, his boss' cold voice rang again behind him, catching him offguard.

"Why are you still here? Go get your young madam her fresh fruits." Lexus swept a chilling look at his a.s.sistant who was still on his phone. He frowned and thought how a.s.sistant Yu did not scram immediately to do what he just told him to do. It was just a simple matter and his instruction was just easy to understand yet his a.s.sistant did not move and had even still had the nerve in making a call in front of him.

"Ah?" a.s.sistant Yu looked at his young master with a blank face as his mind did not process instantly at what his young master meant. He looked at him stupidly, noticing the darkening of his young master's face. 

Looking at the stupid-looking face of a.s.sistant Yu, Lexus frowned even more making his brow to twitch. Then, he coldly said, "I don't like to repeat myself, Xi. Now scram for this young master." 

a.s.sistant Yu then hurriedly escaped this h.e.l.l...this office of his young master. He literally just "scrammed" out of their and went out to buy some fruits for his young mada. However, a.s.sistant Yu felt wronged. He was getting the feeling that he was being "used" as a lackey to do some small errands. This was really something he did not expect at all. 

Unfortunately, he was in no position at all to reject his young master's orders. Also, this may also be a chance for him to get close to his young madam. If he will receive some good favors from her, then maybe his life would not be too pitiful and tragic. With this, a.s.sistant Yu's heart that was once filled with grief was now light and full of hope. He then quickly went to finish his errands and dropped off the boxed gr.a.p.es on the front desk and happily went back to his company. 

October was still focused on work as she became more vigilant with the papers as their might be others that was tampering on the papers. She could not let them think that she was a person they can deceive so easily. Fortunately, there were none other than that paper that early morning, much to her relief. Because if there were any, then she will really question the Human Resource Department of hiring such incompetent employees. Such people are not needed to her department. She knew that there will be other people out there that are more deserving of such positions. 

While she was working on her laptop, she suddenly heard a knock on her door followed by Yun Xixi's angelic voice. 

"Director? A man said that he was here to pick you up...?" Yun Xixi said but more of a question. She did not know that her boss hired someone to be her driver. However, isn't it happening for quite a while now? That her boss will be picked up by a car every end of work. So her boss really does have a lover. Realizing this amazing news, Yun Xixi's eyes glowed with gossip. 

"Okay." October nodded her head calmly while she still remained emotionless. Yet, her actions does not show that she was calm as Yun Xixi that her boss had immediately fixed her table and put(shoved) her stuff inside her bag and swiftly went up the door. It was so quick that Yun Xixi was not able to react in time. She only realized this when October's shadow was already out of her sight. 

"Eh?" What just happened? Yun Xixi was speechless and still could not believe that that just happened. 

Her usually calm boss really does have a lover. Just from that rushed actions, her boss must be meeting wit her lover. Also, that lover must be...that notorious CEO of Heaven Company. If that was so, then that scandal was true...and that man was that...CEO? Ah? Really? Well, either way, notorious is notorious. 

Yun Xixi was a bit dissatisfied with this partnering. She could not imagine her calm and collected G.o.ddess that was so pure and beautiful will be partnered with a man that have a really bad image in the industry. Somehow, this was worrying her. Even if she was only an outsider, this was something she could not turn a blind eye for. 

Will her boss be alright with that kind of man? Personally, she does not know the man and there were not much information about this Heaven's CEO aside from him being demon-like. She just can't judge someone without meeting them personally but this was a man that she suspect as her beloved boss' lover. This was an issue relating to her dear boss. 

Should she use her family's connections to get some background check with that CEO? Yun Xixi reluctantly thought this as she went back to her table to finish her work.
