The Sword Deity In Tokyo Chapter 46: The Substitute Teacher, Kazuki!

As the reiki of the past life recuperated, various unusual phenomena occurred endlessly.

The most praiseworthy one was the spirits transformed from books. These spirits had no thoughts or consciousness, but once they are absorbed, they could understand all the content within that spirit thoroughly, be it methods, movements, alchemy, tactical formations…everything was within their grasp.

These books shared a similarity, which was that they have existed for a certain period and contained historical values.

As Kazuki started to understand the practice, the book spirits around the world were either being absorbed completely or kept by the nation for research purposes.

And when he entered the Spiritual Academy, the book spirits around the world had already vanished completely.

It was like the recuperation of reiki brought up the knowledge base of the entire human race and those with Lady Luck by their side would get it, followed by absorption and integration. It was of their own will to keep this knowledge for themselves or share it.

Previously, Kazuki thought that the recuperation of reiki had yet to arrive and thus 'The Art of Kendo' was useless. If it was not due to his unwillingness to reconcile with the fact that the reiki had not recuperated and kept this book, he might have missed it.

The current situation was indeed a fortunate one.

Based on Kazuki's guess, books that could produce spirits such as 'The Art of Kendo' are unusual. During the era where reiki had not recuperated, the amount of reiki in the atmosphere was scarce. These books were definitely only trying to conserve itself. As the conservation process reached certain stages, the books started to absorb the Worldly Reiki until certain stages where the spirits began to be born.

Book spirits were able to be born in a concentrated and speedy manner due to unlimited amounts of reiki in the atmosphere after the recuperation of reiki.

Under such abundant reiki, plenty of book spirits started to emerge almost a day or two right after the reiki recuperation, and they were absorbed quickly as well.

Kazuki was not sure whether he had made the right guess or not, but he would not go too far based on the current situation. This also meant that he could still activate the spirit of 'The Art of Kendo' using reiki even though reiki had yet to recuperate.

Although the activation process would take time, at least there was still hope, right?

The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. By inculcating reiki bit by bit, somehow he will be able to activate the spirit successfully. As they say, many drops of water can make a river, and many grains of rice can make a bushel. 

As for the rest of the book spirits around the world, Kazuki was not that over-ambitious to think about it.

To be honest, he had been doubtful all this while whether he was reincarnated or time traveled. He used to think that he was reincarnated in j.a.pan 10 years ago.

But since the recuperation of reiki had not arrived as expected, he figured that he had crossed over to a parallel world. If not, how could such a significant event like the recuperation of reiki be influenced by a tiny b.u.t.terfly such as him?

He had not left Tokyo this whole year, only living in Jinwen District. Thus he couldn't influence the recuperation of reiki, but this was the truth, and he had no choice but to accept it. 

Suppressing his emotions, Kazuki knew that he could not draw any talisman today as he had difficulties in calming down under such emotions.

Thus Kazuki continued to practice while facilitating the sword's spirit to absorb reiki and inculcated his body's reiki into the 'The Art of Kendo' after a certain period. It wasn't until midnight did Kazuki fall into a deep sleep on his bed.

After Kazuki got up and washed on Monday morning, he started to bring 'The Art of Kendo' along.

Since he already knew that the activation method of 'The Art of Kendo', which was a long period of reiki inculcation, he could certainly not just leave the book at home and inculcate some reiki when he came back at night. This was way too inefficient and who knows how long it would take for the spirit to be activated.

He possessed a sword's spirit which could absorb reiki anytime for practice. Thus he definitely had no issue in inculcating reiki to 'The Art of Kendo' all day for as long as 24 hours.

After arriving at school, he would be taking over the two periods of math cla.s.s this morning as per what he had promised Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei.

As Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei had yet to inform Cla.s.s One of the soph.o.m.ore year, the whole cla.s.s fell silent when Kazuki stood on the podium, thinking that Kazuki had something to announce. 

Standing at the podium, Kazuki took in the students with a condescending glance, without missing even the slightest movement of the students.

"Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei is unavailable today, so I will be taking over the two math periods this morning."

Upon hearing this, those students who were dozing off as they stayed up late at night for gaming instantly woke up, and they were startled. In their hearts they scolded, why is Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei always unavailable? It's high time for this old man to retire! Why must he let the Head of Department Kimura subst.i.tute his cla.s.ses? Wouldn't it be too tiring for Head of Department Kimura?

They still remembered the scene of the first time when Kazuki subst.i.tuted their cla.s.s. That time, Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei was unavailable as well, and Kazuki was their subst.i.tute teacher. That was not a pleasant experience. 

As Kazuki finished, he continued in an unhurried manner, "Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei talked about the conic section equations during the last cla.s.s, and now for the coming two cla.s.ses we will be emphasizing on a straight line, plane and simple geometry."

n.o.body spoke, everyone sat still and proper with their textbooks open, focusing on Kazuki's lecture. They had to do so, as Kazuki liked to ask questions during lectures and would ask the students to come forward and solve them.

He would not scold or punish those who failed to solve the questions, but rather let them stand by the board and continue his lecture. It was just that sudden questions would be thrown out intermittently by him and if one fails to answer, Kazuki would explain them.

But for those who stood by the board, they experienced the torturing shame of 'the world's focus is on you' every moment.

This type of psychological torture was demonic! Their first cla.s.s with Kazuki led to almost half of the cla.s.s standing on the podium.

And now regarding cla.s.ses subst.i.tuted by Kazuki, although the cla.s.ses took them by surprise, Cla.s.s One of the soph.o.m.ore year had sufficient experience to handle them well. As long as they paid attention to the lecture and understood the content, Kazuki's questions could be basically solved.

Since Kazuki would not ask questions from outside the book, what he proposed would definitely be what was taught in previous lectures.

Following the two periods of math cla.s.s in the morning, Cla.s.s One of the soph.o.m.ore year showed the standard of one which was almost on par with the excellent students from those famous secondary schools.

Regarding the questions by Kazuki, those who were called to answer basically manage to do so. Kazuki nodded satisfactorily, and his confidence toward handling the task of a private tutor was again boosted.

Students of Cla.s.s One of the soph.o.m.ore year sighed in relief after the two periods ended. At the same time, their grumbles towards Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei grew more and more intense, some of them even thinking of writing a suggestion letter to the princ.i.p.al, asking Mr. f.u.kuda Tos.h.i.+kei to retire soon.
