I HATE THIS DAY FOR BEING TOO CLICHE

The morning rays of the sun shoved mercilessly on my face. I opened my eyes and saw that I'm in an unfamiliar room. I can hear the noisy birds chirping in the windows.

I adjusted my position by turning left, and saw an adorable girl sleeping soundly. Her snores are so cute that I could mistake it for a dog whistle.

Tiara slowly opened her eyes, and the first thing she saw in the morning was my face. "Good morning, Rikkun." She muttered. I replied with a smile. We stayed silent and staring at each other's eyes for three seconds until both of us realized that we're on the same bed.

"E-EEEEEEEEEEEEK!!!" Both of us shrieked.

Tiara punched my nose again with an extreme speed, which I fall out of bed! My head hit the ground, and I tumbled away from that murderous woman!

"W-What the heck is wrong with you!" I yelled while covering my b.l.o.o.d.y nose.

"I-I-I'm sorry, Rikkun!" Tiara bowed politely. "I-It was my fault! W-When you pa.s.sed out, I dragged you here in my condo for you to rest. The school clinic is already close to that time, so I had no choice."

"Then why are you sleeping beside me?" I crossed my arms, completely unaware that the blood from my nose started to drop to the floor.

"Y-You look so pleasant in your sleep so I got carried away and got myself sleeping in the same bed… Ehehehe." Tiara scratched the back of her head.

This girl is an idiot.

There are cla.s.ses today, so we had this morning rush. I never got any extra uniform with me so I had to dry clean my current one. I also had to borrow Tiara's extra towel, soap, shampoo and even a toothbrush. I don't worry because those things are unused.

"Oh, Rikkun. That toothbrush was used by Nette-Senpai when she stayed overnight last week."

Upon hearing that, I immediately spit the bubble foam in my mouth and threw the toothbrush to the trash can like how Stephen Curry does his three-pointers. I can't believe I got an indirect kiss with that runt.

I proceeded to use the shower after Tiara went out. Don't expect some fanservice scenes right now, because I'm too busy catching up. And Tiara is using a long bathrobe so she ain't showing nothing.

I collected my thoughts as engulf myself into satisfaction in this hot shower of hers. Tiara said that this condo unit was not hers, but a property of the Kozukata Shrine Maidens, which is apparently, an organization of Gate Guardians. She was placed here to guard the city against Eidolons in exchange for free education and lodging. She's very lucky to have this opportunity.

I was brought back to reality when I heard Tiara panicking and shrieking "I-I forgot my hairpin in the shower room!"

The shower room door was slammed open, and Tiara rushed inside. When she realized that I was still in the shower, she braked, but this led to a more serious accident. Her foot slipped. Her forehead b.u.mped on the thing below my belly b.u.t.ton and her b.u.t.t crashed on the wet tiled floor.

"Auuuuu…" She cried like an anime schoolgirl. When she opened her eyes, her cheeks went red and her eyes went to full moon.

Why? Because I'm completely naked, and she had the front seat view of my junk!

"What the h.e.l.l is wrong with you!" I hollered.

"I-I'm sorry about that! Please f-forgive me! Please don't revoke our friends.h.i.+p!" Tiara bowed again and again even when we're already on the sidewalk, running our way to school.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever." I said uncaringly. I mean, it's not fair for me! I may have seen her undergarments, but she already saw my soul! Her clumsiness makes it more problematic for me!

"R-Really!? You're still my friend?" Tiara's puppy eyes sparkled.

"Y-Yes." I deeply sighed. "Will stop talking already? We're getting late!"

Suddenly, Tiara overtook me and cut me off my path. She pushed her face towards me and made a cute smile as if she had a great idea in that pebble brain of hers.

"Take my hand." She lent out her palms. It looks so soft and warm.

I accepted her offer and confirmed my theory. It's a hand of a sweetheart! It's a little sweaty, but her hand is a holy grail that is meant to be held by champions!

"Get set… " She had this oblivious smile at me. At this moment, I knew that I made a wrong decision.

"Go!" She kicked forward with an extraordinary speed, dragging me along the sidewalk.

Tiara's plan is successful, but it almost made me puke. It was like a rollercoaster ride in a wavy ocean because of her ninja parkour and ridiculously fast sharp turns. But in exchange, we're five minutes early before the bell.

When we had our b.u.t.ts on our seats, Heushac, the person sitting in front of me grabbed my attention.

"Hey, Ric. Can I copy your a.s.signment?" Heushac begged.

"There was an a.s.signment!?" I exclaimed. I looked at Tiara but all she gave was the same surprised facial expression as mine.

"Y-Yeah." Heushac paused. "I forgot to do it because I reviewed for our chemistry exam."

"There's an exam!?" I shrieked once again. Tiara's mouth is now hanging and she's about to cry.

Suddenly, the door opened. Macho Steel gallantly walked towards the teacher's desk and softly slammed the books and records he has on his arms. And then he started his announcement.

"Before I check your attendance, I would like to introduce your new cla.s.smate."

A small girl made an entrance. She has golden blonde hair tied into twin tails by a set of cute pink ribbons. Her purple eyes confidently gazed upon us all.

"My name is Jeannette Amiella Fontaine von Noctis. Nice to meet you all."
