Back to my fight with Diadem…

I was already backed on the edge once again. Diadem clones have been launching fire tornadoes from his swords, and all I can do is stay on the defensive and slash those drilling air projectiles.

Even if the quick swinging of my katana is ten times faster than a normal samurai, it's not enough to keep me holding on. Even if I'm aided with Tiara's healing, some still made its way to make a shallow cut to my legs and biceps.

The pillars, the walls, the ceilings of this golden hall has been absorbed and left nothing but ashes due to the blazing flames!

I just stared at the giant flame pillar that was about to swallow me whole. I can't believe that even with healing support, my powers is not enough.

It was Tiara's shout. When all hope in my heart faded, there she goes in front of my face, bringing a light along the way.

She touched the flame hurricane, which disintegrated as she absorbs all the energy from that spell. After ten seconds, the flame blizzard faded.

I noticed that the hall is no more. Now we're in the middle of a barren wasteland, but there are still golden rubbles all around the place.

I was astounded when the shrine maiden turned to me. She is already using her gauntlets and not her staff. Her long hair is glowing silver once again, and her eyes are crimson red. But her irises are marked with the golden cross. She now has a long fluffy fox tail on her back that keeps waving left and right like an excited dog.

"... Leave Diadem to me, okay?" Tiara's smile is so charming. All I can do is nod with a smile and trust her in this fight.

She can control her now. I trust her power after all. She managed to endure my attacks back when I used Cthulhu's full power. Fighting her twin at this point will make a good match.

"" Tiara muttered. Then her hands were covered with dragon-head-shaped red aura.

"So you will fight me, your twin brother?" Diadem said as he crossed his arms, his metal armor clanking as he moves.

He managed to land on his feet. But his twin sister continues to attack!

Tiara shouted as she rushed forward once again. I could no longer see her hands due to her quick jabs and hooks, but her twin is agile enough to jump back and tumble to evade her punches!

"!!!" I launched my spell as soon as I made a prediction where Diadem would land. When his feet were about to touch the ground, my snowflake shuriken went in between, so he stepped on the wrong floor! His left foot became frozen solid!

"Prepare for this! Yaaaaaaaah!!!"

Tiara took the opportunity to make her punching combinations with her red-flamed fist!

Bam! Bam bam! Bambambambambambam!!! Her punches went exponentially faster as every split second goes by!

"!!!" Tiara made her finis.h.i.+ng move, crunching towards wind barriers as she boosted downward to make a dragon's claw attack! Then a huge crater was formed due to the immense impact!

The black swordsman got himself pinned by the fist of his twin sister. He already suffered enough damage that the left part of his bodysuit armor has already been destroyed, exposing his battered white skin.

Tiara made a glare full of pity to his brother.

"... I'm sorry for hurting you, brother. But I have to do this!" Tiara jumped back and made a ninja hand seal!

Several miniature shrine gates fell down from the skies, completely immobilizing his brother's arm, legs, neck, and waist. The mini shrine gates glowed, and permanently stapled his limbs on the ground.

"So this is the spell that can defeat the G.o.ds…" Diadem muttered. "You've grown a lot, my dear sister."

I went to the crash site and noticed that this is my opportunity to get my revenge.

Diadem can no longer move. I can slit open Diadem's intestines right now. I could listen him scream as I cut his arms and legs slowly. I could watch him beg for mercy as I remove his crimson eyes.

"...No..." Tiara glared at me with her crimson eyes. Her grip on my shoulder started to tighten. "If you do that, I'll smack him with you..."

Well, that's creepy. With my current state, I can't betray and fight Tiara. I guess I can only barbecue that black swordsman once this fight is over. But at least Diadem would get some smacking later.

"You should be worried about someone else." Diadem laughed.

Lord Zeus, or Helena, dematerialized her helmet to see the Cursed Guardian clearly for herself.

Void Wolf finally revealed as a tall man with a long white emo hair. His crimson eyes bear the mark of the Cursed Guardians, and he has a yellow sign on his forehead that looks like an ancient letter.

I've seen his face for a couple of times. It's his picture that Helena was holding dear back in Myrrh City, and he is one of the victims of the black cloak attacks according to the reports.

I believe his name is Lironeo Amerigus, Helena's childhood friend. He vanished for a year without telling anyone.

"Neo, it's me, Helena!" She cried as she reverted her Weapon Gem back to a necklace. "Do you remember me!?"

Lironeo didn't even move his lips. His answer is a silent slash, but Helena effortlessly evaded it with her lightning speed. The corrupted ex-childhood friend did another hack and thrusts with his saw-sword, but Helena stayed evasive.

"Neo! Please listen to me!!!" Helena cried as her tears sprinkled on the barren ground. But it's no good! Lironeo's mouth is tightly shut! He just acts like a madman and kept attacking his childhood friend!

I can feel a different aura in that person. Unlike most Cursed Guardians, his eyes are not giving off an intent to kill. It's hollow as if he's being hypnotized or controlled.

Lironeo made a huge leap backward. He must have realized that in his state, he can't hit the Greek G.o.d of Lightning.

Finally, his lips moved. But it was a horrifying spell that could get Helena killed.
