That was Amy's phone vibrating in my pocket. I carried it for safekeeping because her tight bodysuit offers no compartments at all.

Anyway, I don't know if interrupting this kissing scene is a good or bad thing, because I'm not so sure if Amy really loves me. Don't blame me for being skeptical. I got tricked by her once. I can't afford to get heartbroken again!

I reached the phone in my pocket and let this blonde runt answer the call. After ten seconds, she hanged and disseminated an urgent situation.

"It's Key. She said that Heushac is already seeing the signs of an Eidolon." Then Amy held her forehead as if she's really p.i.s.sed off. "Heushac tracked down the Eidolon signs and went running on his own. Now he's missing. He forgot his phone back in the house so there is no way we can contact him."

"That idiot!" I exclaimed. "He's not a Gate Guardian yet, and he's hunting an Eidolon?"

"We have to find him," Amy said. "Help me change this tight catsuit away so that I can move freely."

"Right!... W-Wait, what?" I was dumbstruck.

"Hurry!" Amy pulled me into a cubicle and closed the door.

Then, this s.e.xy blonde bent over and put her hair sideways so that she can pull the zipper on the nape on her neck. She was only able to open it halfway unto her waist because her hands are not able to reach it.

If there is something perfect with my first love, it would be her flawless white back. I couldn't even see any strap for her bra!?

"Y-You're not wearing any bra the whole time!?"

"T-This suit is so tight that it would squeeze my insides if I ever wear a bra, idiot! J-Just pull the zipper already!"

The tension of the humidity of the air became so hot that we're both sweating. It took me a while to think about what should be done. Right! I'll just pull the zipper and get it over with! "By the power of my , I command you, Alaric Eisenhower, to do whatever it takes to find Heushac!"

Then my body moved on its own, running away from the woman's bathroom. She wasted a Quintessence just to make me go away! How irrational!

I used my phone to track the location of Key, and I ended up in the entrance of a vacant lot. I met up with the white-haired homunculus there, and she seems that she just found Heushac. It may seem that I'm not needed here at all.

"Darn, Heushac! Don't go running on your own! Not before you got baptized!" I yelled to my friend.

But he didn't pay any attention to me at all. Instead, he's looking straight ahead. I realized that there is something weird.

"Look…"

He pointed at the center of the vacant lot. There was a man standing at the center, who was releasing some zombie sounds from his mouth. I know that this is a cliche for horror movies, so when the zombie-looking man turned to us, his pale white face, hollow eyes, and black tears didn't surprise me at all.

"Get back!" I shouted. And then I swiped my finger to open a Gate.

The counterpart of this vacant lot to Yami is just a little different, which makes that we're still in a wide deserted plain but surrounded by withered trees. The crimson blood moon is still nearby as always.

The enemy is a Level 2 Eidolon, which is a seven-meter-long giant boar. It has tusks that look as sharp and as big as a lance, and it has a dark blue complexion. Aside from its muscular hands and feet and bloodshot red eyes, this guy has the ear that looks like bat wings.

"Haaaaaah!" Heushac shouted as he charged with his broadsword!

I was surprised at two things; one because Heushac was able to materialize a Weapon Gem before getting baptized as a Gate Guardian and two because his idiocy and recklessness has no limits.

Clang!

The giant boar parried Heushac's sword attack with its giant tusks! It was already obvious because Heushac's movements are a little sluggish, due to the fact that he's not a proper Gate Guardian yet.

The boar was about to counterattack by impaling him upwards, but in the nick of time, I used my

"Uwah!" Heushac was launched in the air and rolled on the dusty ground.

The giant boar managed to recover its footing, and now it's charging a dark orb from its snout!

" Set!!!" I shouted.

My katana was covered with blue light. Its thickness became quadrupled, due to the ma.s.sive surge of energy I'm releasing to my weapon.

I dashed forward and popped the orb before it could release an attack! Bam! His snout exploded!

Slash, hack, thrust! I continued to do a lot of swift strikes and piercing stabs, but the coat of this creature is unbelievably durable! I can only manage to leave scratch marks!

"Are you okay, Heushac Efilion?" Key still has her robotic accent.

"I-I'm fine," Heushac answered as he slowly sat on the ground. And then he slammed his fist! "d.a.m.n it!"

"Are you upset?" Key said. Heushac didn't answer at all. "Are you frustrated? Are you angry that you don't have the power to fight?"

Heushac bowed and hid his eyes on his bangs. Tears began flowing from his cheeks. "If only I can fight like my sister… She wouldn't have died."

There was a long silence between the two.

(Hey, at least help me! I'm currently fighting this d.a.m.ned durable pig! Don't just cry and make a dramatic scene over there! Help me!)

"Look at me." Key held Heushac's wet cheeks and forced to make an eye contact with her. "Is it okay for you to fight this endless battle?"

"I just want to fight like my sister and be strong… so that I can protect who are dear to me." Heushac made a stare full of determination and a blazing heart! "Key, please help me."

"I shall fulfill your wish," Key said.

Then the white-haired girl touched her heart and removed a ball of light; a Quintessence from her heart. She then pushed it into Heushac's chest, in which his body glowed thereafter. After a second, the light dispersed, revealing the new Gate Guardian! Heushac now has a golden-cross sigil on his reddish-brown eyes!

But the surprise didn't stop there.

"Activating 2nd Gate Guardian Ability: " Key muttered. Then she pulled Heushac's face up close until their lips collided!

In an instant, Key's whole body was vaporized into tiny particles of light that surrounded the newly-baptized Gate Guardian. Heushac magically levitated up in the air as the b.a.l.l.s of light danced around him.

The particles of light were absorbed by Heushac, and in the process, several armor plates materialized on his body! Now he has an exoskeleton suit of platinum and red combination, and he has a gigantic booster on his back! Not only that, he has jet-like wings capable of flight! Did that homunculus girl become Heushac's armor?

Suddenly, there was Key's cybernetic voice.
