Her body was now covered with traces of green and purple vestiges. She looked at him through her tears, full of hatred. She stood in the same place and dared not move.

He got up and walked towards her step by step. His tall figure was full of oppression, making the originally s.p.a.cious s.p.a.ce appear narrow and small. She trembled and dared not speak.

He asked, “What else?”

What else? She widened her eyes slightly, looking at him in confusion and fear. She didn’t understand what he meant.

Pei Ziheng guided her patiently. “It seems you haven’t understood the difference between me and the driver.”

She was so scared her heartbeat almost stopped. “I… I understand. You… You’re different.”

“Where’s our difference?” He tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear.

She couldn’t answer his question, and big drops of tears flowed down her cheeks. She was so afraid he would tear her into pieces in the next second.
