Li Lei glared at him ferociously, and the chauffeur shut up.

She lifted her dress and stood up. Together with a group of actors, directors, and other creative staff, she walked up the premiere stage.

This film had an all-star cast, but she was only a newcomer and could not match up to movie kings and queens featured in the movie. They were of special status and were not willing to stand beside her. Thus, she was pushed to the back of the group. Beside her was a handsome and tall male star that was blocking her and stealing her limelight.

Xia Ling was unhappy. It was clear that he was taking advantage of her.

A commotion started on the stage. After she has rolled over, she felt that the prop shelf was heavily pressing on her back. Then, she blacked out.

But she could not remember the scene of the dream. She could almost hear the screams, cries, and shouts of countless people.

The siren of the ambulance, the voice of the doctors and nurses, and a familiar voice that was screaming something in her hear. The voice was like a beam of sunlight in the dark.

She was floating in a void and could not find an exit.

Until light seeped through her void from a distance. She could not help but move closer to that warm feeling.
