280 Meeting

The next day, Putri was invited to the palace to receive her reward as the king will personally reward her for her contribution.

Putri wore a white military uniform with a tight white skirt. This was not a soldier uniform, so even though it was called a military uniform, it was only for ceremonial things like this case.

Putri put a ceremonial sword on her waist, giving an extra gallant vibe to her. She was alone in the house because all of her family had gone first to receive her in the ceremony in the castle. Of course, there were some other family members, but she didn't have any good connections with them.

Not long after, she arrived at the castle. As soon as she arrived in front of the castle, Daniel had been waiting for her. He smiled at her and greeted her.

Putri only shook her head slightly, and she said, "No, Minister Daniel, I don't dare to accept your apology. All your actions were justified because the information was too absurd. And, I am only a messenger back then. I was not the one who got the information."

They were walking toward the throne room, where she would receive the reward. Daniel's eyes were glued on the paper the entire time. Daniel couldn't help, but his jaw dropped when he finished reading it.

His back was covered with sweat as he couldn't believe there was such information. Daniel then gave the paper back to her.

Putri received it awkwardly, but she noticed that Daniel's hands were shaking when he handed the paper to her. She didn't know what to do in this situation.

"Young girl. I will inform the king about this. It will be better if you say it yourself. Don't worry. After all of those things happened in the war, they wouldn't doubt you anymore, you have my guarantee on this.

"There will be a banquet after this ceremony and don't go home yet after the banquet ends. I'm sure we will have a private meeting with the king after that. Don't worry. The king would end the banquet early if he knew about your information." Daniel said as low as possible.

Putri was taken aback when she heard she was going to meet the king. She started to get cold feet.

They arrived in front of the throne room. In a moment, the door would be opened, and they would come in.

Not long after, the door was opened as someone suddenly announced.

"Ladies and gentlemen. Her contribution has given this kingdom a chance to survive a disastrous war. Without her, we might not be able to hold such a ceremony. Without further ado, let us welcome Putri Wulan from Makmur Family."

The room was full of people. Most of them came from prominent families, ministers, as well as guilds. When they arrived at the front, Daniel then left her and joined the crowd.

Putri then kneeled on her knees.

The blue-haired middle-aged man in front of her who sat on his throne finally stood up. The silence immediately filled the room as soon as he stood up.

There was no decoration in the room. Only a big table and chairs.

"Your Majesty." Putri then wanted to kneel, but Billy stopped him.

"It's alright. This is an informal meeting. You can sit first and tell us about the information."

She then gave the paper to Billy respectfully and sat down. Billy's face turned to blue, and that made the ministers astounded.

"Are you sure this is true?" Billy asked with a dumbfounded face.

Billy sweatdropped. One of the ministers couldn't stop himself from asking, "Your Majesty. What is this all about?"

Billy contemplated a bit. He decided to tell them himself rather than giving them the paper. Although it was worth it to see their shocked face, it wasted too much time.
