"Young Master. A big problem! Evelyn is in danger!"

"They sent Evelyn to intercept a detachment from the Zhou Kingdom. Their number is around three thousand, and all of them were Martial Grandmasters. In contrast, she? only had a thousand Martial Grandmasters."

Alex frowned. There was a trace of anger in his eyes. "I really hate the royal family, whether it was the Southern Kingdom's royal family or this kingdom's royal family. Why can't they just be nice to each other like Acacia Kingdom's Royal family?"

"What should we do, Alex?" Anna came to him and asked. She also heard his conversation with Nicole.

"Nicole, where is she? I am on the battlefield."

When he heard that, his expression darkened. His position was the exact opposite of them. And the only way to get to that place was to break through from the Zhou Army.

"Your position is close to Evelyn, right?" Alex asked.

At first, he considered using his Teleportation Array. However, he already got spotted by both sides, so if he used it, he would become even more 'famous' as there might be many wanted posters for him alone later.

Even though he already put on his mask, the people would realize that he was Alexander Sirius as that Princess Luna already knew about his ident.i.ty.

Alex looked at the two incoming armies.

"Leoz!"

"Yes."

"You will be the vanguard. Use your True Spirit Body, and we will go to Evelyn's position through the Zhou Army." Alex said. He wanted Anna to use her True Spirit Body too, but Anna was specialized in ma.s.sacring enemies. Not breaking through their formation. For the a.n.a.logy, Leoz looked like a sharp spear that could pierce anything while Anna was like a sword that slashed and broke an armor but could not cut the body.

Leoz nodded as he raised his giant sword. "True Spirit Body. Thunder Berserker Form."

Two horns appeared on his head as his body was fully covered by lightning.

"Go!" Alex said.

The moment he said that, Leoz immediately charged toward the incoming Zhou Soldiers with his giant sword.

He raised his giant sword before swinging it down. "Thunder Spirit Slas.h.!.+"

A huge lightning sword wave flew toward the Zhou Soldiers. It shocked both the Zhou Kingdom and the crown prince. The incoming soldiers from Thiveapia Kingdom even halted their advance as they saw that giant sword wave plunged toward the Zhou Soldiers.

Noticing the power, they knew they underestimated Leoz's power. All of them tried to avoid this sword wave, but few of them did not manage to avoid it and died. Leoz did not have time to kill the soldiers that managed to dodge his attack.

He immediately led Alex and Anna toward the numerous soldiers of the Zhou Kingdom.

"Incoming! From our right!" The people who noticed Alex's group immediately shouted to inform the rest of the soldiers.

Ten lightning b.a.l.l.s suddenly appeared in front of Leoz and formed a circle. They were connected by a lightning line.

The lightning circle suddenly got bigger and bigger until it made a 30 meters circle. In the center of the circle suddenly glowed brightly.

"Not good! Incoming Attack!"

"Thunder G.o.d Cannon!"

The lightning shot out a laser beam. It destroyed everything in front of its way, killing thousands of soldiers. Because of the situation, Leoz decided to use his full power in this state. He would not be able to use this move again. And in fact, he already used more than half of his power.

However, Alex and Anna could immediately see a huge line without any soldiers in it.

"Young Master!" Leoz shouted.

Alex nodded.

Leoz came in front of them again and led them through this single line to break through the enemy soldiers.

The soldiers thought they finally managed to stop the demon that killed many of them, along with the two behind him. But they never expected that Alex and Anna did not bother with them and continued flying past Leoz.

"Leoz, I am going first."

"Yes, Young Master. Please go ahead."

They were dumbfounded when they saw Alex and Anna had abandoned Leoz in this crowd of soldiers. It was basically a death sentence if he was trapped inside here. They thought they were already cruel enough by ma.s.sacring those people in the cities.

But Alex even sacrificed his comrade just like this to make way for him, and more importantly, he was a 6-Star Martial Lord. They did not know for what purpose Alex did this, but they certainly could not let Alex and Anna go away.

"Stop them!" One of the 9-Star Martial Lords shouted to the soldiers. The soldiers started gathering around to stop them from pa.s.sing their ranks.

"Anna, make a Dark Curtain that could stretch until we get past these soldiers. But make sure that Leoz is also covered by it." Alex said.

Anna was perplexed by his order. She knew that he wanted to break through this place using her Dark Curtain. He was planning to create confusion while flying in a single direction. But she did not understand why he wanted to cover Leoz too.

Even though she was confused, she still complied with his order.

"Dark Curtain."

Suddenly a long giant Dark Sphere appeared. It stretched from Leoz to an empty s.p.a.ce on the left of the battlefield.

"What is this?"

"Be careful! Don't touch it!"

"This might be another attack."

Leoz's attack made a great impact in their heart that even made them afraid of Anna's harmless Dark Curtain.

In the middle of confusion, Alex continued flying. Since they only needed to fly in a single direction, they did not need Spirit Eyes just to see where they wanted to go. Nonetheless, Alex still activated his Spirit Eyes to see if there was a soldier that tried to stop them.

Fortunately, there were none. Alex then took out Leoz's card. "Recall. Summon."

He summoned Leoz to his side. And since it was dark inside, Alex immediately grabbed and dragged him away the moment he appeared. This was the purpose why he wanted the Dark Curtain to cover Leoz.

If he just summoned him later, it was like he disappeared from the scene. The enemy might even think they were using a s.p.a.ce Element. Even though they were in an emergency situation, Alex had learned from his previous experiences. He did not lose his head and used everything at his convenience but leaving a potential problem.

What made him sad was because Leoz did not kill any of the 9-Star Martial Lords. Well, Alex did not tell him his plan since he had no time, so Alex could not complain about that. They continued toward the end of the dark curtain.

The sound of the Dark Curtain broke to pieces filled the battlefield as the one who broke it was Alex. He had arrived at the end of the 'tunnel.'

"What? We have been fooled by them. We need to chase-!"

But when they tried to chase them, a loud sound came from the front.

"Uoh!"

The soldiers from the Thiveapia Kingdom were stampeding toward their position. Alex unintentionally made a great diversion for them to push the Zhou Kingdom back.

Alex and the others continued toward Evelyn.

Of course, it did not escape the crown prince's eyes. He looked at them before turning his head to Elder Oliver and Jack. Although they volunteered to join the war, they were only planning to watch from the side. They did not have any intention of joining the war.
