Lilian was gathering information about the bandits from the town nearby, while Alex was scouting the base. Alex tried to map their base and the people inside it from afar. He could see all their positions, including their position inside the mountain with his Spirit Eyes and movement to make a rough map.

However, he found another room where people gathered. In this room, he could see many weak life signs. It felt like they were not strong or something wrong with them and he found it strange.

Alex just marked it as a special room. As for the others, they were scattered inside the entire mountain. He knew that with their positioning, it was perfect for ambus.h.i.+ng any outsiders that did not know their base layout. Sadly, they met Alex this time. Alex continued to make a map of this base as they would raid the base tomorrow.

In the night, he met Lilian to discuss tomorrow's plan. Alex showed her the rough map, making Lilian surprised.

"This is a rough map and their positioning. They have a special room here, where I find it strange and a boss room here, I am pretty sure the leader is in this room." Alex said.

"This… Where did you get this? Even in the town, no one had something like this." Lilian asked in surprise. She looked at the map and saw how complicated the tunnel was.

Alex simply shook his head as he said, "I have my own way."

Lilian wanted to ask again, but she knew he was not lying, albeit she did not know whether it was his handiwork or someone's handiwork.

"Alright. According to the information I got from the citizens. This bandit group consisted of elites. They never accept Tier 3 or lower to make their group powerful. As for their ident.i.ty??? Most of them are war prisoners or criminals. That's why we need to be more careful inside. A few mages have come inside, but no one managed to come back."

"I see." Alex nodded. He did not have any a.s.surance about their leader, the 6-Star Tier 5 mage, but luckily, he brought Sherry and Kyle this time. If needed, they could act as support.

"And it seems they have been taking many young females from the towns to satiate their beastly desire." She said.

"Oh, that must be what is in that room." He said as he glanced at the special room. He could somehow imagine what kind of scene he would see in that special room.

Lilian nodded in agreement.

"We will go attack them from here and here to take down their watchdogs. This way, we can slowly make our way toward the base and ambush each of these rooms without anyone noticing. We will then go this…" Alex continued explaining his plan.

He was planning to kill all the subordinates first before fighting the leader. This was to make sure no one would come to help him.

"Yeah. Not that much though." Alex nodded. Even if they knew about it, Alex could see their general position, so it was not a big deal. If only Anna and the others were here, they could spread out and finish all of the vital areas. This time, he needed to coordinate with Lilian just to kill them.

After agreeing with their plan, both of them were making their preparation for tomorrow's plan. They came to the mountain as Alex led her through the mountain to the entrance.

They ambushed the guards silently before making their way inside the cave. Alex led her from one room to another, ambus.h.i.+ng many people. Most of the rooms were their bedrooms, so they immediately moved to the next one after killing the people inside.

After an hour, they finally arrived in the special room. Alex narrowed his eyes when he looked through the door. Now that he saw from close by, he was able to see what was inside.

He said, "There are one 4-Star and one 5-Star Tier 5 Mage with a couple of Tier 4 mage inside. However, this is not the problem. I just want you to ignore all the things happening inside the room and focus on killing the enemies. Are we clear?"

Lilian frowned when she heard this. Alex was not joking, so she a.s.sumed there was something crazy inside this room. She made a resolve in her heart and nodded. "We might attract more enemies past this point."

Alex nodded. Considering this place was close to the boss room, he had expected this. "Don't worry, I have several escape routes ready after we clear this room."

"Alright. I will trust you." She nodded.

"Let's go."

Both of them nodded and kicked the door open before storming inside. There were many women inside the room, lying on the ground lifelessly. They were still alive but there was no light inside their eyes. They were covered with white sticky liquid which did not need to be said.

"!!!" The bandits turned their heads only to see their subordinates dying.

Alex already killed a few of them in an instant while Lilian was clenching her fist and used her magic to kill them. She was thoroughly angered by the sight and started her killing spree. This happened everywhere. Even so, watching this with their own eyes would surely trigger one's heart.

Lilian immediately took on both Tier 5 mages while Alex kept killing the Tier 4 mages.

Meanwhile, in the boss room, there were twenty people drinking inside. They were laughing and so on as they kept sipping their wine. It was at this time, they suddenly heard a series of explosions.

Meanwhile, Alex and Lilian had killed all the bandits in this room. Lilian immediately threw towels for these women. Some of them still had some light in their eyes and managed to look at Alex and Lilian.

Lilian looked remorseful as she said. "I am sorry we are too late. If you still have the desire to lead a normal life after this nightmare, please wait for us as we will evacuate all of you after we destroy this base."

Lilian turned to Alex and said with anger in her tone. "Let's go. We have another thing to do."

"Calm yourself down first. This time, the enemies are stronger. If you lose your cool, they will defeat us and you will be the same as them." Alex sent a thought transmission to her since he thought it was rude to say it in front of these women.

Lilian's body shook. She clenched her fist, almost bled her palms with her own nails. She took a couple of deep breaths before she said. "Thank you."

Alex nodded. "They have noticed us because of our battle earlier. As long as we divert their attention, they should not come to this room. After this point, this will be my battle against them. Follow me."

Lilian nodded. They started roaming around the place as they killed many people that were scattered in this base. Alex skillfully utilized his Spirit Eyes to get into their weak links and ambushed them.

They met a few troublesome mages but all the battles ended before any reinforcement came. Lilian wanted to ask about his ability but decided not to do so.

After a while, they were able to clean the bandits. All that left was the last forty people inside the boss room. Alex could see that there were five Tier 5 mages left, so it should not be a problem.

"I will take care of the others while you kill the leader," Alex said to Lilian.

She nodded as she released her fire and ice.

Alex also released all of his firebirds. They then stormed inside the room and used their magic simultaneously.

"Fire Wave Emission." Alex leaped toward his opponents while Lilian appeared in front of the 6-Star Tier 5 mage.

"Haha, to think we will get another beauty, and she might be the prettiest one we get." The bandit leader laughed.

Lilian shot out an arrow with both her elements. The bandit boss simply grabbed one of his subordinates and turned him into a s.h.i.+eld.

"Argh!" His subordinate was killed in an instant, but the attack did not reach him.

"You… How can you do that! He is your subordinate." Lilian shouted.

"Ah, you must be one of the righteous b.a.s.t.a.r.ds. That's right, they are my subordinates. That's why they should be honored if I use their life as my s.h.i.+eld." The bandit leader laughed.

Alex was also triggered by this. He was also one of those people who thought he should not treat his subordinate that way, considering he had his spirits.
