"Understood, Young Master," Xu Zhong replied firmly. As the second strongest combatant of the Second-Prince's Palace, Xu Zhong was even more capable than Mentor Qin. Moreover, he was Liu Xun's most loyal subordinate, so of course, he understood what Liu Xun meant when the Second-rank Prince ordered him to make a decision based on his judgment. Thus, he complied at once.

Liu Kan was also struggling to believe that Ye Chen had surpa.s.sed him in power within such a short amount of time and his body was sent flying away. 

Heavenly King Rupturing the Sun was a lethal technique, so Liu Kan was going to die!

Liu Xun was a step behind Liu Kan and had hastily channeled his Celestial Chi to defend himself when he felt a mighty bout of blazing Celestial Chi coming at him. As he looked ahead and saw Liu Kan's body flying backward toward him, Liu Xun quickly reached out and caught hold of Liu Kan. Instantly, an overpowering force surged into Liu Xun's body through his hands and caused him to stumble a few steps backward. When he finally managed to steady himself, Liu Xun immediately sensed that Liu Kan's body had been ruined on the inside as Liu Kan had lost most of his Celestial Chi while his meridian channels had ruptured into pieces. 

Liu Kan had been crippled in just one move! As Liu Xun turned his gaze to the young man in front of him, his eyes were filled with deep fear.

Liu Xun howled indignantly in his heart. Liu Kan was a mid-Tenth Level combatant and yet had been defeated by Ye Chen in one move. "Are you sure you're capable of wiping out the entire Ye Clan? You should take a look at what's going on behind you!" Ye Chen laughed coldly and burst into rage. 

"You're asking me to look behind me? As if I would fall for your tricks." Liu Xun scoffed scornfully but then suddenly heard the sound of screams and fighting coming from within the Ye Castle behind him. From the corner of his eye, he saw that a few mystical beasts had appeared unexpectedly and had unleashed an overwhelming wave of attacks. The Dark Troopers were forced to retreat. Even Xu Zhong had been struck down and killed by a Raven Hawk.

"I've been conferred the t.i.tle of Second-rank Prince by Great Emperor Mingwu. Meanwhile, my father, Liu Kan, is the Xiwu Empire's Minister of War. Ye Chen, is the House of Ye planning to rise in rebellion by killing two important courtiers of the imperial court in one go?" Liu Xun looked almost mad.
