"*Sigh* I knew this was going to happen. I wonder why do you feel so guilty towards Leon"

Leon was the boss of the False G.o.d event. Leon's background and why Richard was so fixated on him was never explained. Even if Linri were to ask TBB right now he wouldn't know. I mean he didn't know about Richard's connection to Lyra either. The fact that he wrote 'Richard has lived for centruies' made it so that there was a very big time gap in his biography that none of the players knew about.

The admins said that Richard was feeling guilty towards Leon and that was why he had helped him. When they asked why after the event, their answer was just because. Hence the reason why Linri took the risk of asking Richard about him. If he were to get ready to pubstomp Leon he needed information.

If Ms Snow's The Game can be likened to a tournament, Leon's False G.o.d would be a raid boss with mulitple phases. He had a total of five forms and with each transformation he would refill his prana and health. It literally took the whole school to defeat him. Even Linri's last stance like [Ex-Burst] was designed that way because he wanted to keep partic.i.p.ating in the event but he was out of prana. On the bright side he was able to hang on for three of the phases but he had missed two and that was factoring in that he had one shot the first phase. So he had only fought normally in two phases back then.

Of course, while Linri was reminiscing his feet were dangling in the air. Factoring in his mental state right now, it wasn't hard to imagine how he had reacted.

"WERE YOU THE ONE THAT SENT ME THE MESSAGE!"

Richard had already gotten up from the mattress, grabbed Linri by the throat and lifted him up to the air, choking him. His sole eye was glowing red, pretty similiar to the eerie light Linri's bracelet gave from time to time actually. He spat all over Linri's face while shouting which he found uncomfortable... He had really gone crazy, hadn't he? Linri was actually feeling worse about the spit than being choked.

Linri tried to speak but no words came out of his mouth. He wasn't able to speak. Noticing that he hit Richard's arm a couple of times to make him aware of that. Then Richard threw him to the ground.

*Cough* *Cough* *Cough*

He wasn't able to stop his cough. That was definitely going to leave a bruise. Did he have any clothing that covered his neck?

"Stop with the G.o.dd.a.m.n senseless anger you old freak! I wasn't the one who sent you that message but I might know who did. If you promise to keep it a secret from my parents I can tell you about how I know about him and your possible future, interested?" Linri's words would have sounded more convincing if he was not grasping for air between each word.

While listening to his words Richard slowly came to himself, remembering the ident.i.ty of the kid in front of him. Oh s.h.i.+T! He was the son of his most brilliant pupil. If she were to find out he harmed a single hair of her one and only son, there would be a blood bath.

"*Ahem* Of course we can keep this between us" Richard said awkwardly.

Linri was surprised by his sudden 180 in his att.i.tude. Wasn't he supposed to be out of his mind and disappear in the middle of this event? Then why did he calm down so easily? He was honestly only trying to fish for information and nothing else. He didn't even think that he could change Richard's fate because of how things went down in the club.

"Have you ever wondered why I showed signs of awekening despite the fact that I am mix breed and none of my bloodlines are actually stronger than the other?"

"Wasn't your mother the person who fixed that?" Richard asked in confusion. He han't talked about this with Lyra so he had just a.s.sumed this was her work.

"Nope! And considering you are quite tight with the demons, let's say I did somethink akin to a deal with the devil but something much worse than that"

"Who did you make a deal with? Was it Samael, Volgafor or Lillith? If the price was your soul we can always work something out with them" Richard asked in concern.

"Another big ol'nope! I actually made a deal with ancient deities"

Richard frowned as a response. To his knowledge deities were supposed to be banished from this realm during war back in the day. They weren't allowed to interfere with the matters of this world. Were they trying to change status quo?

"Are you sure it was a G.o.d?" Richard asked in a serious tone unlike his usual demanour.

"Yep and it wasn't a G.o.d. I made a deal with two of them. They spew some bs about how I was the chosen one and all and granted me a piece of their powers. The result? Both of my bloodlines awakened after they fused with the deities' powers and now they are fighting for supremacy. If I am not wrong I only have a month before I implode"

When he heard the last word Richard's eyes grew as big as saucers. No! He could not go through the same experience again. There should be something that they can do.

"Then what are you doing here!? You should return home and ask help from your parents. You know your mother she can definitely find a solution to this. She has to! She can't let her son die!"

Linri found Richard's concern for him unnatural. Could it be that he was actually in love with his mother? It couldn't be that right?

"Calm your t.i.ts dude! How can my mother help? I don't know anything about her except for the fact she is a kitsune. Actually if the deities hadn't told me I wouldn't even know about that in the first place" Linri feigned ignorance. He obviously knew that Lyra could help him but he could dig information about her this way. Honestly, it bothered Linri that he knew next to nothing about her.

"That... does make sense. She always said you were normal... Does that mean you came to this school without knowing anything about it before that?"

Linri shrugged.

"Maybe. Actually, it was the G.o.ds that sent me here. And when I told my parents about it my mother gave me your number"

"Okay, that's not important. We have to get you out of this place and send you home immediately!" Richard walked towards the door. If not for Linri stopping him, he was going to blast it open.

"Calm down! Did you forget about all the people living in school? Do you want them to die!"

"But-"

"No buts! I haven't told you this story so that you can take pity on me! It was to tell you about how I know about Leon. Did you already forget that part?"

"That's not important right now!"

"Look, making a deal with them was not all that bad. You get some perks too, like glimpsing into the future. That's how I know I am going to die a month from now. Anyway, the message you recieved is real and Leon is really alive... in some way. He is trying to become a G.o.d by killing all elemental aspects and absorbing their power. Currently he should have absorbed all five except for darkness. So he is planning to attack the school and destroy everything you held dear. If you really don't want me to die forgo your past. Because I die by your own hands..." Of course, that was total bs but Richard didn't need to know about it.

So for those who still remembers there was a time where Linri mentioned that he was banned from an event fight. That was the start of the False G.o.d event where Leon appeared in his [Fire Lord] form. In that event Leon would incarnate mulitple times and with different elements. You defeated my fire form? Huh! Then how about you try to defeat my water form this time? The last fight of the event was Leon in his [Light Lord] form and Richard helping him. So it was a twin boss fight. If they defeated Leon without defeating Richard Leon would revive with full health and vice versa. So they had to defeat them both at the same time.

"What?"

"Yes, I don't know what happened between you two but you decided to actually help him with his plan. Granted it fails and both of you die but that doesn't change the fact you killed me. So what happened? Just what happened between you two that you could attack Autumnfall and senselessly kill your own students?"
