Linri got out of his room to see who was attacked the last night phase. Everyone seemed fine. Wait, wasn't there someone missing. Riku was not here. Rina seemed to notice the same thing and she walked towards his room but it was locked. She did not give up but kept trying to force it.

"Stop trying, he was night killed" said Linri.

"NO!" Rina shouted and hit the door with a lightning bolt but it did not budge an inch. Then she fell down on her knees and started crying. She did not like her brother becoming the heir of the clan but she never wanted him dead! She was angry at their father and she took it out on him but he never deserved to die like this!

"Don't you think you need to console her? This should be the perfect moment to win her heart" Richard asked. He was returning back to his old perverted ways.

"Nah, I already have too much on my plate"

"Right, right, right but a man can never have too many women right?" Richard said wih a sparkle in his sole eye.

"You are disgusting old man! Anyway, with this the game should be over right? We will vote Rondo and if he is not a witch I will use my ability on Ashley to kill her. Does anyone have any objections?"

"This glorious one does!" Rondo spoke for the first time.

"Speak then" Linri said but before Rondo could say anything Ashley cut in.

"I was the one who protected you night 1 so Rondo should be the last witch!"

"Ha! Lies! It was I who protected him" said Rondo.

"*Sigh* Ashley do you really need to do this?" Linri asked with appearent disinterest in this conversation.

"Why don't you believe me?"

"Because if it was Rondo he would have already given up, simple as that"

"What makes you believe that? His life is on the line so don't you think he would try to prolong it as long as he could?"

"Nope! Even though I don't like him he is a paladin in training. So he wouldn't do something like this. You, on the other hand," Linri said as he took a deep look towards her eyes.

"Believe what you will but if you lynch me today know that you would be making a mistake" she said as she averted her eyes.

Ashley Keithon (1): Linri

---

"Sure" Linri said after voting her.

Ashley had a weird expression on her face. She couldn't find a way where she might live. This game was too stacked against the witches. How can a role like 'Witch Hunter' exists? It broke the balance of the game...

"Your role isn't 'Witch Hunter' is it?" she asked with a complicated expression.

"That took you long enough" Linri replied back with a sly smile.

"I should have known that. You pulled that stunt to protect yourself. After clamining you should have thought there was no way witches would attack you if you told who you were going to check. Then that person would have been the target of the townies but you didn't expect they would have took the bait and attack you instead. Still, you were lucky enough that someone had a protection role and used it on you"

"Ding, ding, ding, ding! We have a winner ladies and gentleman!" Linri said sarcastically.

"But isn't that counter intuitive?"

"How so? As long as I stalled out time and didn't let the townies lynch anyone the witches were bound to get antsy. Honestly I didn't expect a protection role when I claimed but it worked in my favour. Isn't that how I caught you? If you weren't so willing to lynch someone for information last phase I wouldn't have voted you today"

"But you are making a mistake! I am not a witch!"

"So what? If you are not the last one that red haired b.a.s.t.a.r.d over there for sure is the last witch"

"How can you be so sure?"

"It's because I know the personalities of everyone here. Rina would never have killed her brother. This old pervert here is more interested in chasing skirts and has immunity to posion so he would have claimed to protect his students. I am not a witch so that leaves only the two of you. Am I wrong?"

"That's not how to play this game! You should be suspecting them! Not make reads based on their personalities! What if you are killed!?"

"Then that's my mistake for putting my trust in them. Still, let's just say I have some sort of back up plan in case things goes south. I guess what seperated us this time were the difference in information. Simply put, I knew more things from you and hence why I won. So do you admit defeat?"

Ashley Keighton (4): Linri, Rina, Richard, Rondo

"Anyway, now stop your senseless struggle for now. You can still hve your revenge after this game is over"

"No!" shouted Ashley. Then her hands started to blaze with reddish-black flames and she threw a fire ball towards Linri.

"Really?" The fire ball stopped right in front of his face.

"You? How?" Ashley was having trouble understanding why her attack did not work.

"You don't need to know" said Linri as he dispersed the fire ball. Richard then appeared behind her and knocked her out.

TIME IS UP!

---

[Ashley Keighton has been lynched. Her alignment was witch]

[There are no more witches left. Town wins! Congratulations]

---

"It was an entertaining game. However, it still looks like there are too many players left. That's why you guys are going to play a lightning round" said the mysterious voice.

Linri checked his watch to see the new rules and was pleasently surprised to see it was something simple.

"I surrender" said Richard as soon as he read them. He was not interested in playing these childish games anymore.

---

[The Tournament]

The remaining players will be fighting against each other one on one. The last one standing will be the final winner of this game

First match: Linri v Richard

Second match: Rondo vs Rina

---

This lightning round was actually supposed to the real third event according to Linri's memories and the most dangerous one.

"This glorious one shall not fight either" said Rondo.

It wasn't something surprising. Rina was Rondo's second student character. It was actually the first one he had created. He made Rondo to see how would an attribute character would play out so he mainly used Rina in events. There was no way that he would fight and possibly kill her.

"So what's it going to be Ms Flat-chest? Are you going to surrender as well or do you want to fight to the death?" Linri said to Rina who looked out of it. Her brother had just died so she was not in the right mental state. It would actually help him a lot.

"No!" said Rina and looked fiercely at him like she was going to eat him alive. Ugh, he was not prepared for this. m.u.f.fin (Rondo) had actually beaten him in this event back in the day so he was not confident in facing her just yet. Well, at least not until it was night. He hated to admit it since he was a firm believer of supremacy of fire over all elements. But he was much more adept at his using ice powers since he kept using them against Lozna. Actually he wondered if there was a way that he could fight Lozna with his fire powers. It would be a good training and up his proficiency in using them. Whenever he used fire powers it felt crude. He wasn't comfortable.

"Hey, GM! I demand a time out! We should at least wait until 7 pm before fighting. As you can see she broke the rules in the previous game so she one upped me. I need time to recuprate" said Linri trying to gain more time.

"No! Aren't you afraid that the bomb will go off during that time, killing ever student in the school?"

"We should still have time before that, aren't I right GM?"

[Due to the previous violation of the rules the final round will be postponed to 7 pm. All the are advised to go back to their rooms to recuprate!]

Linri smiled after reading the notification. If it was like this he should have no trouble beating Rina. Well, even if it wouldn't be easy he would still feel more confident. Actually in the grand scheme of things lightning element somehwat countered his ice element. After all, ice was still water and could conduct electricity but he was more efficient with his use of ice powers. You know, pros and cons. Nothing in this world was without its cons and Linri could live with this small disadvantage... hopefully.

Linri walked back to the room he was just in and started to meditate like Richard thought him today. He wasn't trying anything. He wa just trying to feel the prana around him and absorb them. Just like they say; time is money my friend!
