Linri was in front of Leon. At least he thought that was Leon? I mean the guy was in such bad shape that it should be hard to call him human anymore let alone recognize his face. Meh, it had nothing to do with him so why should he care?

Though looking at his face he could not help but get extremely annoyed. His mother Lyra was not able to reach the old pervert. It was almost as if he had disappeared from the face of the earth. He shouldn't have trusted that old pervert's promise. Of course, in the first chance he got, he would go to Leon. He was a f.u.c.king moron!

"Hey, sissy! Where are you keeping Richard?" Linri asked not hiding his disgust towards Leon. He acted like breathing the same air as him was unbearable.

Leon seemed furious. He opened his mouth to say something but no voice came out. Linri found that hilarious! Actually, now that he took a closer look there was a giant burn on his neck. Maybe that had something do with it. Anyway, the important thing was he wouldn't be able to learn anything from him.

The guy couldn't even talk! What was he supposed to learn? How to burn his own vocal cords? Hm... this doesn't feel like his usual jokes. Maybe because he hadn't s.h.i.+t talked in a long time he was getting rusty.

The same sun-like giant white fireball appeared on top of Leon once again. Was this guy never going to learn? 

That was when Linri did something any sane rational man would do in his situation. He pulled out his gun and shot him right in the middle of his brows. 

Then he put the gun back in its holster after giving its tip a quick puff. d.a.m.n, that really felt cool! He was like some outlaw cowboy killing the sheriff! Wait, you are asking why he is the outlaw instead of the sheriff? Such a stupid question that doesn't need an answer. Shame on your for even asking such a thing!

Oh right, Jaime! Linri quickly turned back to see Jaime looking at him with a weird expression.

"You have guns?" she asked.

"Yeah? My mom made me two guns as a gift for my awakening. They are magical equipment and can even work with my magic!" said Linri while boasting about his new babies.

"But don't the bullets travel at [3x Superior Speed]?"

"That's true only for normal guns! These things are made by the genius Kitsune Lyra Harclaw. Of course, they can break the sound barrier easily. In other words, think of them as normal guns"

"You mean to say we could have been using guns to fight this whole time?" Jaime's shoulders were trembling. She was about to cry. She felt like she was such an idiot to try so hard and risk her life. She was especially upset that she worried for this f.u.c.king moron! If his mom could build something like this why didn't he say it sooner!

"I mean certainly you could but there is still the police side of things and most importantly where is the fun in using guns when you can cast magic?" 

As he was saying that Linri took the struggling wox cub from Jaime's embrace and put it in his breast pocket. Her mom had made this pocket especially big so that it can sit in there comfortably. Well, it was better than it sitting on his head so he had no qualms about it.

"Wait! Is that?" Jaime finally noticed the look of the tiny critter she was protecting.

"In the flesh"

"So does that mean you are officially crazy now? I mean you were always crazy but" Jaime asked sarcastically.

"Don't let me relieve those bad memories. As for the answer to your question, no this one isn't a tulpa. This is a real wox and I gave birth to it. Don't ask me how I am not going to go into details" said Linri as he put Jaime's arm around his neck.

It was obvious that she had no strength left in her body to walk so he helped her. Just now Linri had actually lied when he said he was late. He had actually arrived just after Leon used [Gaia's Wrath]. He was about to get involved when he saw Jaime's sword glowing. Because he was curious about the prowess of the so-called Sword Maiden. He decided to hang back and watch. He was certainly not disappointed.

During the time he spent with his mother he didn't just learn about his new powers. He also recorded substantial information about the supernatural into his [A.I Chip]. That was how Linri learnt about The Sword Maiden from Lyra.

All this time he had thought Jaime was just an insignificant attribute character. He would be lying if he said he wasn't jealous when he learnt about Jaime's true heritage. Ugh, as expected, he was the only transmigrator in this G.o.dforsaken world that actually needed to work hard to get stronger.

The question was if he should tell her about that? Honestly, before her fight against Leon, he wanted to say it but it seemed like it wasn't necessary. With that sword by her side, she was bound to learn about it eventually. Most importantly he was petty. He didn't want to be the only one to suffer to get stronger. So if she wanted to learn about herself she needed to do it alone.

"Wait! There are still others! Kris was amongst the injured!" Jaime said in a panic.

"Fine" Linri said after rolling his eyes. 30 giant hands made of azure fire appeared in the sky.

"I didn't say to kill them!" Jaime panicked upon seeing that. This guy was really ruthless. Instead of thinking about helping them, he was thinking about mercy killing them.

"Relax," said Linri as the hands grabbed every corpse and living people. 

However, unlike what Jaime expected the bodies didn't burn. The hands were carrying them gently.

"Wh what did you do?" She asked in surprise. Shouldn't fire be burning them? Also, why did his fire suddenly turn darkish blue?

"I evolved," said Linri sarcastically and Jaime looked at him in disgust. She couldn't believe that he would make such a disgusting joke.

"Don't look at me like that. I know I got rusty with my s.h.i.+t-talking okay?" Linri said to her. He seemed offended by the look she gave her.
