Jaime looked at Linri. She wanted to ask about his wounds but saw the tired look on his face and decided against it.

"Well now that everything is okay, I guess I should leave. You look like you need to sleep." she was about to get up when Linri spoke.

"No, don't leave yet."

"Why?" she had a confused look on her face.

"Well aren't you supposed to feed me the soup? Isn't that how it usually goes" Jaime was frozen when she heard Linri's cheeky remark. She really wanted to hit him right now. It was just one little punch it would not hurt him much would it?

"Wait wait wait wait! It was a joke, a joke" Linri felt danger towards his life since Jaime had such a murderous look so he immediately back paddled.

"What's the real reason then?"

"You see I am afraid to sleep so can't you just stay here and talk?" Linri pleaded Jaime.

She could not help but laugh when she heard his reason so turned back to leave again.

"What are you a third grader? Are monsters gonna eat you when you sleep? Stop joking and just go to sleep again otherwise you won't heal." This time it was Linri's turn to give her the murderous look. He was gonna get killed if he fell a sleep but he was mocked over it.

"Is that so? I would like to see what you would do if you were in my position?" Jaime stopped in her tracks after hearing Linri's cold voice.

"What do you mean? Do you want to talk about it?" Linri scoffed at her question.

"Yes I would like to talk about it, great job Ms. Sherlock. You truly deserve your t.i.tle as the greatest detective in London." Linri said sarcastically.

"Stop with the jokes already. I am sorry alright, so talk. If you are not talking I am gonna leave."

"Fine, as you wish my Queen. So do you want the short version or long version?"

"Short."

"I was killed today, twice in fact."

"WHAT!" Jaime could not help but shout so Linri immediately covered her mouth.

"Shh, just keep quiet will you? You do not have to overreact to everything." He let go of Jaime.

"What do you mean overreact? You just told me you were killed today twice. How am I freaking supposed to react to that?"

"My my, somebody just cursed not so lady like is it?" Jaime gave him a death glare he continued.

"Well actually I worded it wrongly. It was more like I was about to die then brought back and killed for real."

"Stop with the word games and tell me already otherwise I am gonna tell your mom"

"You wouldn't dare... Still since you asked me so nicely I supposed I can elaborate on what I meant."

So Linri started to tell about what happened in these four days. His meeting with the monkey, self torture, the deal he made with the deities and most importantly his 'dream'.

Once she heard about the dream Jaime was pale as a sheet. She now understood why he didn't want to sleep. Of course he wouldn't want to sleep who would in that situation.

"So as you can see, I don't want to sleep or rather I can't fall a sleep unless I can't hold on any more. Though I gotta admit situation might not as bad as I make it out to be."

"How can you still joke like that?" Her eyes were teary. Seeing her about to cry Linri did not know what to do. Why was she crying? He was the one that was going to die over and over again.

"Stop, stop stop I am joking. Just listen, alright? First of all I already died once today so it's not guaranteed that I will be teleported there again. After all I only made him dream when he was sleeping at night. Sleeping at day might solve the problem. Secondly it was not every night that he saw it, mostly because sometimes I forgot to write the dream sequence but that might be a good thing here. Also I usually wrote that Linri would wake up in the middle of the night after the 'dream' and he would go back to sleep as normal. So don't worry alright..... Wait? Why am I consoling you? Shouldn't you be the one consoling me? I am the patient here."

"You are just - Argh! Okay then let's talk. What do you want to talk about?"

"I don't know life and stuff?" Linri reached out the bowl with his hand.

"Stop its ho- Oh" Jaime stopped her sentence midway when she remembered what Linri could do now.

"Yeah well if you can't use your ability for daily life convenience what's even the point of having them? At least I will never be burned by food now"

So Linri and Jaime kept talking about random stuff until Linri fell asleep naturally. It was actually enjoyable to talk about random stuff. She had not done that with anyone in a long time. There was always a burden in both her and Linri's mind. They were in a hostile environment so they could never relax completely.

Seeing Linri's battered up face she felt fortunate to create a 'normal' character without any complicated background. Immediately after that a sense of guilt washed over her. She felt awful for thinking like that. While she will be relaxing he was going to keep on fighting just to return home. She had to get stronger otherwise she was going to be left behind. Her training was not enough. While she was taking it slow the boy in front of her was literally fighting a mental battle against literal G.o.ds and he was winning. Before long he would leave him and this thought scared her. She did not want to be alone no matter what. So with a new found resolution Jaime left the tent.

When Jaime was resolving herself to get stronger Linri was running in a forest. He was running to his death yet again.
