"Very well then. So I heard from Snow that you wanted the floor plans, is that correct?"

"It is." Sarah started to observe him more closely. She was trying to see if he really wanted to help her son or if he had some kind of ulterior motive.

"Before I give you the plan let me ask you this; why are you trying to break into this facility? I might be trying to break my son out of there but I am not a traitor to the empire so choose your words carefully Mr Harclaw." Linri frowned upon hearing this question. He had prepared some answers to this question but the way she phrased it did not really sit well with him.

"Before I answer this question I also had a question of my own for you; how much do you know about the supernatural?"

"I don't think I understood your question can you please be more specific?"

"Well it is exactly it sounds how much of the supernatural world have you interacted with? For example, do you believe in supernatural creatures like werewolves or vampires? Or do you believe myths and the legends of old are real or just exaggeration?"

"I do believe they exist actually. As a scientist, our most and foremost goal in life is to find the laws of the universe. I believe that those so-called 'supernatural' phenomenons are just things we haven't been able to explain yet. So magic is just science we don't understand as of now."

"That's good. It will make my explanation easier to understand then."

"Is that so? Then I am all ears."

"I won't get into how it happened but after a certain incident, I saw the future. Your son was in it. In the vision that I saw we were best friends and both of us were the students of the Autumnfall High school. In the vision, he told me about the research facility and about you. He told me how horrible it was and how he lost his sanity in there. He didn't tell me what was the incident that scarred him so much but he remembered the date clearly. 28th of August, meaning it is exactly 1 week from now. So, of course, seeing the future is something that I did not believe at first but I couldn't let go of the possibility of it being real. That's why I checked whether it was true or not first I checked the Autumnfall High school and found out that it really exists then I asked Ms Snow about you which also turned out to be. Since both of those are real I wanted to save my future best friend before he loses his sanity. Then I gathered a bunch of super-powered 'future' friends who can help me break in and get Alex out of there, oh yeah by the way Alex didn't like the name you gave him he once said that he would rather be named Kris but that's beside the point. The point is I have everything ready to extract Kris out of that facility, right now the only thing left is you giving me the floor plans and the address. Also, it would really help if you can throw in the number of guards and the paths they take."

Sarah stood there in silence. She had said she believed in the supernatural but it was still hard to wrap her head around the fact that someone could see the future. So to sum up she was sceptical.

"Then tell me. What else did you see in this future?" Sarah looked Linri as if she was mocking him. This was not a good sign but since he had already started his con there was no way to turn back now.

"What else? Let me think. I saw Alex's ability which was IBM forcefield. Honestly, I don't know what IBM stands for but he told me that simply put he could control some sorta particles to form a barrier around himself or his allies and he could also create beams from his fingertips. I also saw the Autumnfall School get attacked by countless villains."

"His power is related to quantum particles? Also villains huh? What kind of villains were they to dare attack the Autumnfall?" Sarah was not hiding her mocking any more but there really was not Linri could do. I mean he did not lie about his knowledge about the future. Linri and Alex really get along in the game. They even had a special combo attack like an ultimate ability from games. In the RP club, it was called Amalgam arts system. It was just another way to strengthen your character. The villain part was also true since the whole point of the RP club was combat in a High school setting.

"Who knows? I only saw the future not lived it but I only know some of their names. One was called Zero who came to test us saying that a giant calamity was about to befall the earth and the other one was called Leo or something."

"Zero? How did he look like?" Sarah now became more serious which intrigued Linri. In the Club, the attack of Zero was the first event. Everything about him was just question marks. As he was considered a tutorial boss for the players to get used to the fighting system they had not really paid attention to him. Also, his warning was just flavour or at least it was supposed to be. From Sarah's reaction, it seems like Zero was somebody of importance.

"He had a mask that covered his face but he was dressed in all white. He had a great white sword that was on his back. He could instantly teleport to attack us and our powers seemed to dissipate when it got close to him but not always. He also said something crazy about being the first ability holder to ever exist. That's about all I remember about him." Sarah stayed silent and started to tap the table with her left index finger.

"And this was just a test, right? Were there any deaths?"

"I don't know if there were any deaths but this was definitely a test. When he was done he had said he was happy with the test results and if he was not he would have obliterated the whole school. Ms McKinnon is there something going on that I should know about?"

"No there is not. Anyway, everything you might need is inside this flash drive. I need to leave now." After handing the flash drive she left in a hurry leaving behind a confused Linri. Just what the h.e.l.l was going on?
