"I see. So Master Ymit had a son who is currently the leader of Karatengu clan, and by the sound of it, his entire family is in this realm."

"Well, as far as the family goes, Ymit Karatengu's father Korgan Karatengu, and his son Ren are the only ones left of his clan. Other than them, I am afraid there are no other crow demons left."

Doran and Orin were still trapped within the prison cells, but that did nothing to stop them from having a pleasant conversation.

"I am glad, master Ymit used to say so much about wanting to go back to his family. Even to a brat like me back then, it was obvious that he was in constant pain over not being able to go back."

"Why was Ymit Karatengu in the human realm of Alem anyways?"

"According to Master Ymit, he was banished into the human realm by his enemies. On his left hand, there was a white mark. He said that because of this mark he was transported from his world to the world of Alem, making him trapped in human realm."

"Mark of Banishment? I thought it was just rumors, I never thought it was real…."

"Lord Orin, what is a Mark of Banishment?" Toro was curious as well.

"It is a type of curse that is used upon a victim to send them away from the world the victim is occupying. If what I know is right, human beings in the past used this spell in order to get rid of demons, they probably thought demons were killed by when their bodies disappeared from their reality, but in truth, the demons were transported to another world. It wouldn't be surprising if someone used it to send a demon from Alem to Sulum, but to think it was used to send a demon to human world instead…."

Now Orin's expression turned serious.

"How long ago was this?"

"The last time I saw Master Ymit was nineteen years ago."

"But Master Ren is younger than that, isn't he?" Toro couldn't help but remark.

"According to Master Korgan, Ren is around sixteen years old currently."

"Sixteen?! Young Master is so young, yet he accomplished so much!" Toro found himself in disbelief.

"That is not right…That can't be…Master Korgan checked it himself, Boss is without a doubt a crow demon and his grandson, so how can this be….?" Orin was not sure whether what he was thinking of was right.

Come to think of it, Ren is not familiar with world of Sulum, at all.

Orin knew that to be completely true after seeing that Ren did not even know much about the geography of the kingdom or about the mountain ranges.

When Orin told Ren about the snowy mountains that were close by, Ren looked confused and asked 'What mountain?'

He did not even know about the Frost Empire that was within the realm of Sulum, led by Frost Emperor, it opposed the Demon King of Kalkan kingdom.

The Frost Empire did not know about how the Demon King was selected, if they knew that Kalkan kingdom is currently without the Demon King to protect it, they would have attacked Kalkan kingdom already.

While Orin dismissed Ren's unfamiliarity with the demon world as Ren simply jesting, he now understood that that it was no joke.

Ren did not know a thing about the demon world aside from what he was told by other demons or found out for himself.

There could be only one explanation for this.

"Boss is not from this world. He was born in Alem."

That was the only plausible explanation.

"But that does not change the facts, Boss is still Boss, and our only leader. Even if we cannot complete this Second Trial, I am sure Boss will succeed."

"Your belief in your leader is most ludicrous. If the Trials are what you say they are, it is most likely that your leader is already dead."

"Nope. He is alive. I am sure of it. No matter what kind of situation it is, even if he is in a pinch, boss always emerges victorious. He is one demon I don't need to worry about. As for the others…"

"Lord Orin, in our situation, we can't really be concerned about what happened to others right now, we have bigger problems right now! Not to mention Young Master is not here….What if he really did die?"

"Toro, do you think Boss is that weak?"

"That is not what I…"

"Do not worry. I used to doubt Boss as well. But now….Knowing him, he will be just fine."
