Yang Wenshu twitched. She wanted to wake up but found that she had no energy left.

Yang Wenshu was just thinking this when the sound of a gunshot ripped across the room.

The bullet pierced through Shangguan Zheng’s heart and blood gushed out.

Shangguan Ning hadn’t expected this sudden change in plans. She called out “Dad” subconsciously and was about to walk forward when Lu’s gunshot sound stopped her in her tracks.

It was the first time for Jing Yiran to watch Jing Yichen handling a situation. He couldn’t help but feel something bizarre inside his heart. Judging from what he saw and heard, it seemed as if all was within Jing Yichen’s control.

The a.s.sa.s.sination took place right in front of him and judging from the way the killer used the gun, he could have killed anyone. But Jing Yichen showed composure and no display of panic throughout.

Jing Yichen wasn’t surprised at his appearance either. Only Shangguan Ning next to him couldn’t hide her astonishment.
