“Lady!” Tang Yun got so angry by Mo Lan’s words that she trembled. She stopped pretending and dropped the act of calling her grandma.

Instead, she said in a scathing tone, “Brother Yichen has always been deeply in love with me. He promised to marry me and you can’t deny his and my baby right now. Family Jing have a great deal of money. Then why you are asking me, a weak and helpless girl, for money? Have some care for your position in the family instead of demeaning yourself like this. Why are you picking on a young girl like me at your age?”

“I don’t need an outsider to judge our Family Jing. Now, get out of the house. You are not allowed to step into the house ever again!”

Mo Lan got furious instantly. She never put on an arrogant air when she dealt with her children and she had been devoted to her two grandsons without any complaints. But for outsiders, she was the n.o.ble old lady of Family Jing and everyone, including those from wealthy families in A City, respected her fully. Even the mayor of A City would bow down and addressed her as “Lady!”

Who was this ill-mannered girl that dared to throw temper at her or give her a lecture?

She must have become tired of living any more!

The Butler, who was waiting outside the living room, walked in after hearing that the old lady was furious and intended to drive the woman off.

Butler knew Tang Yun, everyone in Family Jing knew her, because she was the woman whom Jing Yichen had been searching for, for the past ten years.

The Butler had got really anxious when she came to the door, claiming that she was pregnant. So he had called Tiger to ask Master to hurry here when old lady was not paying attention.

Butler had no idea what old lady would do. He was afraid that the old lady may ask Tang Yun and her child to stay just to bring more children to Family Jing like what she did 30 years ago.

Hearing that the old lady was driving away the woman, he eventually got a.s.sured and said to Tang Yun calmly, “Miss Tang, please leave. It is getting dark and Family Jing have no tradition of letting anyone stay overnight.”

But Tang Yun stayed seated on the sofa without moving. It was as if she had not heard what the Butler said.

Honestly, she had made a lot of effort to reach Family Jing and she was not leaving until she met Jing Yichen. She wasn’t going to leave before her purpose was realized.

She tucked her hair behind her ear as she sighed. “If Brother Yichen got to know how you are treating me, he would definitely get angry and the consequences would be very serious for you.”

“I am not going anywhere. I will wait for him here. He will definitely come and meet me here. Last time, he had begged me to come home and spoils me as a princess. I am given everything I ask for and you can call Brother Yichen and confirm that with him.”

“Butler, get her out now. Family Jing is not a place for a hooligan to throw her tantrums. You don’t need to tell Chen that this woman was here.”

Mo Lan had no idea how Jing Yichen treated Tang Yun or if Jing Yichen and Tang Yun were still involved with each other. She didn’t even care if Tang Yun was really pregnant with Jing Yichen’s child. What she wanted was to drive Tang Yun out of Family Jing, because she didn’t want Jing Yichen to make the same mistake as Jing Zhongxiu did. Also, she didn’t expect Jing Yichen to have lingering feelings towards Tang Yun. Therefore, he had turned Tang Yun down instantly, without even sparing any affection.

The family was currently in upheaval. Jing Yichen and Jing Yiran were fighting with each other as if they were on a fierce battlefield. Jing Zhongxiu had gotten angry many times because of their fight and she didn’t want an outsider like Tang Yun to interfere at this moment.

In her opinion, Jing Yichen and Shangguan Ning were a cute couple and Shangguan Ning had strong affection towards her grandson. The couple had never quarreled with one another after they got married and were in a stable relations.h.i.+p, full of happiness and peace. She liked Shangguan Ning as her granddaughter-in-law, because she had changed her grandson and made him a more approachable person. Even the relations.h.i.+p between his father and him had gotten better since then.

Her husband had also mentioned many times that their granddaughter was a woman who had brought happiness and excellent destiny to the family. It was a great match for both of them as they would get better and better in each other’s company.

Mo Lan hated Tang Yun for wasting ten years of her grandson’s life and for making her grandson almost lose his life. She was worried that her grandson’s life would be ruined because of this woman.

Tang Yun was wearing such high heels, heavy makeup as well as a cloyingly strong perfume. She was dressed skimpily. She didn’t look like a pregnant woman at all!

Butler knew exactly what the old lady was thinking.

He had understood that the old lady didn’t want to make the same mistake as before, and wanted to drive the woman out of the house.

He picked up the walkie-talkie and asked someone to get Tang Yun out.

But before he could finish the instructions, a lazy but sinister voice came from the door.

“Hang on!”

The Butler looked up to see Jing Yiran, who was looking pale yet handsome, walking inside the room.

“Second Master!” The Butler addressed him courteously and retreated. He was just a Butler and couldn’t possibly fight against Second Master. Jing Yichen was on the way and would be here soon. Tang Yun was definitely going to be driven off by him.

Mo Lan sat up from the sofa suddenly at the sight of him and then walked to his side to support him. She said worriedly, “Why are you out of the bed, Ran? It has just been two days and you have not healed yet. Doctor Jian says that you mustn’t walk around. Go back and rest!”

Jing Yiran showed his charming smile as he said, “Grandma, I am fine. I just came to see who the guest is. Unexpectedly, it is an old friend.”

“What old friend? Just a stupid mannerless girl! I am driving her away. it has nothing to do with you. You should go back and rest, or the wound will get worse.”

Mo Lan didn’t want Jing Yiran to interfere in this matter. He had come out because of Tang Yun, otherwise he would not have gotten off the bed after being so badly injured.

Tang Yun got up and looked at Jing Yiran across the room and said happily, “Second Master, greetings! How are you? Why are you injured? Why are you so careless?”

Jing Yiran squinted and then said nonchalantly, “Oh, I got injured not because I was not careful, but because my brother wanted to kill me and I couldn’t run away from that. Well, I have been his punching bag since I was little, and it is a normal thing that I am injured. I am alive till date because my grandma has been defending me.”

He smirked inside his heart as he saw her talking in a pretentious way. She resembled Shangguan Ning in this way –”Ha, Jing Yichen, are you not selecting a fiancée for me?”

“So as a repayment, I have brought your old flame back and hopefully, this present will be a huge surprise for you!”
