He was not sure if he should bend down to his woman to set a trap up for his buddy or stop his woman from doing something stupid to his buddy.

“No, don’t do that Anan!” Shangguan Ning got both annoyed and anxious.

She held Zhao Anan’s hands and said with a serious expression, “You can offer help, but not in this way. First of all, we have to know what Zheng Jing thinks. If he has feelings for Lun, then it will become easier. But if he doesn’t like Lun in that way and regards her as his sister, then you are just going to ruin her.”

Zhao Anan nodded after thinking for a moment. “That is true. It seems that Plan A doesn’t work, so we have to implement Plan B.”

Shangguan Ning almost fainted. “You have got a Plan B?”

She knew that Plan B wasn’t going to be any better after knowing about Plan A.

“I didn’t fight with him. Had I hit him, Lun would have been very sad. But it was ok to hurt that Zhu woman a little bit, no? But Zheng Jing got upset and when he did, I just couldn’t back down either!”

Zhao Anan looked justified as if she had done the right thing.

“I used the power upon Zhu Ruotong so Zheng Jing took advantage of me. In the beginning I was losing, because I was too careless. But after hours of fighting, he got injured more than I did after I used some tricks. Haha!”

“You fought with him for hours?!” Zhao Anan was never tired!

“Oh yes, I could have hit him down to the ground had Lun not kept crying to stop me. Unfortunately, he was still standing there when I left. He is quite strong, huh?!”

Shangguan Ning had no idea what to say.

Zhao Anan said that she was taken advantage of, but Zheng Jing must have used his strength sparingly. Honestly, even ten Zhao Anan together would not have been able to take him down!

The bruises on Zhao Anan’s face must have been a forced move by Zheng Jing. Maybe she kept badgering him for too long. He had apparently not done enough, otherwise Zhao Anan would have got a bloated face.

Zhao Anan was not really injured except for a couple of bruises. Apparently, Zheng Jing had not really been furious.

Otherwise, he would have hit her hard.

“I remember that someone was once permanently disabled by Zheng Jing just because he was thinking about his sister.”

Mu Qing took a sip of tea and tried to recall the old memory. “Oh yes, disabled. Totally paralyzed, just because he said that he couldn’t fall asleep due to missing Zheng Lun for days!”

“See the difference? You hit his girlfriend hard but you only lost two strands of your hair. What does that mean?”

Everyone turned to Mu Qing who said with pride. “That means that I am an honored person. He didn’t hit Anan because of me!”

Apparently, Mu Qing also knew that his buddy had spared Anan, otherwise she would not have been alive now.

But he didn’t seem to get the reason for it.

Shangguan Ning and Zhao Anan’s eyes widened. Jing Yichen’s words made them become certain that Zheng Jing didn’t have much feelings for Zhu Ruotong. Instead, he cared a lot for Zheng Lun, be it a brotherly feeling or of love.

Zhao Anan got a bit excited. She clapped her hands and said with a sinister smile. “Now, time for my Plan C!”

Since when did Zhao Anan start to make so many plans?

But judging from the way she smiled, it seemed to be an ominous one. Zheng Jing might end up suffering a lot.

To try and stop her from creating further mess, Shangguan Ning asked her. “Please, tell me what is your Plan C?”

“Haha, Plan C means Plan A plus Plan B! The double torment of body and mind. He is going to be slayed.”

Shangguan Ning wanted to bite off her own tongue. Why did she ask when she knew that nothing good would come out of her friend’s mouth?

“Mu, get me some more drugs. I will need to use them really soon. Also, you must keep this a secret. If Zheng Jing gets to know my evil plans, I will hold you responsible.”

Mu Qing felt that he was in the worst situation in the entire world.

But he made up his mind within one second between whether he should pick his woman or his buddy. “Don’t worry. I will not spill a word.”

Shangguan Ning looked at the couple who reached a compromise within such a short time. She was about to stop Zhao Anan but then she felt that this might be the only chance for Zheng Lun and Zheng Jing to be together.

Zhao Anan had always been lucky for others. Ning was forced to go on a blind date with Jing Yichen back then and now they were living a happy life. What if the same thing happened to Zheng Lun as well?

She knew how much Zheng Lun liked Zheng Jing. She also wanted Zheng Lun to be happy. She was a kind and innocent girl who deserved to taste true love and wonderful marriage.

Shangguan Ning was just thinking about that when the office door was opened again. A tall and muscular man in uniform came in.

Mu Qing tried to stop himself from smiling at the sight of his face. Instead, he put on a pretentious show. “What happened to you Zheng Jing? Did you … get injured by Anan?”
