“Ms. Zhao, time for food.”

A man with an Asian face spoke to her in a low voice.

The man seemed to be around 27 or 28 years old. He looked rough and had really short hair. His skin was healthily bronze and his muscles stood out even under the clothes, making him look explosively strong.

Zhao Anan found it extremely strange. She asked for the 100th time. “Do you know me?”

He shook his head in silence. “No.”

“Then how did you know that I am Ms. Zhao? You must know me somehow.”

A fortnight ago, she was wandering on the street when she saw a stray cat. Out of pity, she ran after the cat for a while until she finally caught up with it and got knocked out.

When she woke up, she was at this strange place.

Zhao Anan had no idea where this was, but she knew that she was still in the UK.

She had adjusted her watch to the local time when she came to attend Shangguan Ning’s wedding. Since she was not going to return home for the next few years, she might as well start using the local time, early.

In the beginning, she thought that she would be raped. Honestly, she looked very pretty if she tidied herself up a bit. Also, in a place full of blondes and blue-eyed foreigners, a black-haired, black-eyed Asian girl would be quite attractive!

She had a nice appearance and a killer figure.

That man had a good sense of aesthetics.

It was smart of him to kidnap a beautiful girl like her!

Unfortunately, however, Zhao Anan found that the reality was different than what she had expected.

This muscular man in front of her had no interest in her at all!

Even though she was relieved that she was safe in that sense, Ms. Zhao still felt a bit disappointed.

Her next theory was that he wanted money.

But then why choose her?

She was going to live here for a long time. She would starve if she didn’t have money.

Else, she would be forced to return home in a short period of time. So robbing her was like killing her!

But many days had pa.s.sed and no one was taking away the few pounds she had in her pocket.

More importantly, this man had found a wonderful place for her to live in. He fed her and guarded her. It didn’t seem like a fair deal for him at all!

Could he be her cousin’s man?

But he didn’t look like one.

Cousin’s men would not be so hostile to her. This man looked violent, one that would probably kill her if she didn’t obey him. That had frightened her into silence!

But this man knew that her surname was Zhao which didn’t make sense. The ID card she was carrying with her showed her name as w.a.n.g Cuihua. So, he should be addressing her as Ms. w.a.n.g.

Zhao Anan had been held inside this house for many days, during which, she had tried to escape many times. But each time, she would be caught and brought back by the man.

Every time she was caught, she would be starved for two days and forbidden to drink any water or eat any food. It had been quite a torment!

If she had not been smart enough to get up during the night to steal some milk and oats, she would have been dead because of thirst and hunger.

Zhao Anan got quite annoyed when she thought of that. She sprang up and bellowed. “Confess, now! Who are you and why have you held me here? It is illegal and I can sue you. Don’t think that I will be grateful just because you feed me. I hate being imprisoned. I want to go out and have fun!”

The man looked at her with a frown and said, “Shut up, and eat!”

Zhao Anan started shouting even more loudly when she saw him scolding her. “Help, someone is killing me. Come! A teenage girl has been captivated. Help, Help, don’t kill me!”

“Shut up! No food for two more days if you dare to continue this!”

That was the most effective method. Zhao Anan instantly shut her mouth, sat down and started to eat obediently.

The food here was not a match against the food at home and she was only offered ordinary bread, beef and a plate of potato mash. But if she turned it down, she would have to starve.

After the meal, Zhao Anan decided to go to bed. It was morning and the sun was s.h.i.+ning. But being imprisoned bored her and she had nothing to do but sleep.

She needed to have plenty of energy so she could run away at midnight!

She had no idea who was her enemy. She couldn’t think of any way to fight back, either. Luckily this man didn’t like her in the physical sense, otherwise things would have been worse.

Zhao Anan was born to play around. Being captivated in such a manner irritated her and she was going to go mad if it continued.

Even though the consequences of running away were serious, yet she still kept trying. Every third or fifth day, she would try and escape. She had tried it at all time except for midnight.

Hopefully, she could succeed in running away tonight!

Wait and see, she was definitely going to find out who had set this trap for her. She would catch him and trap him too.

Zhao Anan was trapped in a building which had 40 floors and she had been placed on the 39th floor. That was the worst thing about this location which she had found out after trying to run away many times.

If she jumped down, she would die. The door would not work either, because that muscular man had put his bed by the door. It was where he ate and slept. He guarded the door every minute of the day as if someone precious was lying there, waiting for him.

Unbelievable!

According to her observation, the kidnapper had a regular diet and toilet routine. Around six in the morning, he went to pee whilst at midnight, he went to take a dump.

Zhao Anan felt humiliated. She was a girl and she had to figure out the toilet visit schedule of a man apart from Mu Qing!
