Zhao Anan was indeed fine, except that she regretted having run away.

Because she ended up being held in a prison-like room, shut in close quarters with that muscular man. She was not injured, yet she was extremely uncomfortable to have been isolated, especially after being an outgoing person.

Everytime she became uncomfortable, she would launch a prison break. Although she would be brought back, Zhao Anan still had not got tired of repeating her actions.

That perverted man was so strong that even if she bit him, scratched him, and kicked him hard, she still couldn’t win. After two months of doing the same thing, her skills had improved slightly.

However, Zhao Anan couldn’t think of who would have wanted to trap her in this way.

It seemed to be a bad deal for that person. He had to feed her and pay a qualified bodyguard to guard her all the time!

She knew that Jing Yichen and Mu Qing must be searching for her across the world.The kidnapper had changed three locations already and each of them was extremely difficult to find. A man has to be very, very smart to find her.

But luckily, except for restricting her food after each attempted escape, the kidnapper had not done anything else to her. He was not interested in her physically, nor did he ever become violent.

Zhao Anan simply could not figure out what the man behind this plan wanted from her. If it had been for money, he should have made use of the Zhao Family and Jing Yichen. If it had been because of her looks, then he would have done something about it ages ago!

Zhao Anan watched TV in boredom. She thought that if the bodyguard had been a h.o.r.n.y man, she could have at least stripped and seduced him to try and sneak away!

But this man must be gay. He did not react to her in any way, no matter how much she tried. That made her really desperate.

As per the latest plan, Zhao Anan was planning to grab the phone from the man to try and make a call to her mother.

She would die if she was kept here any further.

She might even die of cancer before she was able to get out of here!

“Hey, perverted man! Go and tell your boss that I have got cancer and I will die if I am not treated. I need to get to the hospital as soon as possible!”

The man looked at her calmly, and then went back to sleep.

Ha, cancer? What a stupid way to trick me? I am not a three-year-old boy who would believe everything you say!

Seeing that the guy did not respond to her, Zhao Anan got instantly irritated. “Why don’t you trust me? What I said is true! You can ask your boss to check if I am sick or not. I have been at the edge of death twice.”

The muscular guy turned his back towards her as if he were really in deep slumber.

Seeing that the man did not want to talk to her, Zhao Anan sat down next to him and started to nag.

She nagged for more than an hour and eventually got so thirsty that she had to go and drink a few cups of water. After quenching her thirst, she returned to her position to continue nagging.

But the guy had no reaction even after all that torture.

Zhao Anan observed him for a moment, and after ensuring that he was fast asleep, pulled out the phone from his hand.

The cell phone was in her hands, yet the man showed no reaction. He was fast asleep.

Delighted, Zhao Anan pressed the home b.u.t.ton to switch the screen on and was startled.

It had a fingerprint lock!

What a sly man!

Zhao Anan glared at his clasped hands . She wanted to get a knife so that she could cut all his fingers and press them one after another on the screen.

But there was no blade in the room, and even if she did find one, she would not be able to cut his fingers.

Irritated, she smashed the phone on the man’s body, turned around and went back to the sofa. She laid curled as she raked her brain for a new idea.

Mu Qing had been searching Zhao Anan for a long time now and had been outdoors for so long that his skin was tanned. He had also become distressed and silent.

He had shed many kilos and his features stood out sharply. He looked strong and his hair was short. He was wearing black jackets and sneakers rather than the light coloured s.h.i.+rts and loafers which he liked to wear so much.

Mu Qing had changed a great deal during these five months. He was like an unsheathed blade, sharp and waiting.

He seemed to have become mature and steady, no longer a sunny teenager.

The old Mu Qing used to be as aggressive as Zhao Anan, and the biggest setback he had experienced till now was his breakup with Zhao Anan. He was born in a wealthy family and was a smart kid who had not been through any bitterness till the age of 31.

But during the past five months, he had been through enough disappointments.

He had to deal with many dark forces in the UK, to get their collaboration.

Jing Yichen’s men might be capable, but they were obedient towards Jing Yichen rather than him. Also, he had made mistakes while giving orders.

Mu Qing felt very bad when these men, who had been cultivated by Jing Yichen, died due to Mu Qing’s instructions.

Tiger had been summoned home by Jing Yichen, and Lee Duo, who was more careful and steadier than Tiger, became Mu Qing’s partner. But Mu Qing acted more as an a.s.sistant to Lee Duo because he discovered Lee Duo to be more professional and intuitive towards the surroundings.

They had managed a good collaboration and the loss was reduced tremendously during the past two months.

As per Lee Duo’s gut feel, he believed that Zhao Anan was still in the UK. So he divided the men into two forces, one searching the unexplored places and the other to the places they had already been to.

Although the effectiveness might be reduced, yet it was a more thorough way.

All this while, Mu Qing kept feeling that he was not that far away from Zhao Anan.
