Mi Xiaoxiao threw a calm look at Zhao Anan who was hidden in the taxi through the door, then smiled brightly.

This Zhao Anan was a lot of fun. She cared a great deal about Mu Qing but pretended as if she did not. Was she asking for trouble for herself?

She stood at the counter of the lobby, drawing numerous looks from all directions. Ignoring them, Mi Xiaoxiao said with a commanding tone from her red lips, “Where is Mu Qing? Tell him that his girlfriend is here to meet him.”

A minute later, everyone at the hospital knew that Mu Qing, the former Director of the hospital, had got a new girlfriend. She was extremely beautiful and wealthy, and she was better looking than any female doctors or nurses at the hospital.

Five minutes later, Mu Qing came to fetch Mi Xiaoxiao and led her to his office with a bright smile.

For example, they would conceal Mu Qing’s routine and forget about Zhao Anan’s messages to be pa.s.sed onto him. They would also “kind-heartedly” inform Mu Qing about what trouble Zhao Anan had caused.

He would have collapsed had it not been for his determination.

He was also a normal man who could get tired. He could not possibly court Zhao Anan all the time.

But the more honest his words were, the more trustworthy Mu Qing was.

She had heard many sweet vows but none lasted long.

So Mi Xiaoxiao admired Mu Qing even more, now.

“Aren’t you tired?”

“Very.” Mu Qing smiled and answered calmly, “But I only need a short pause to gain back the pa.s.sion for Anan.”
