Zhao Anan wanted to smash the plate on Mi Xiaoxiao’s charming face.

She had never run into such a troublemaker. She had thought that she was bad, but someone was apparently worse than her.

She must be very annoying and picky in other aspects too.

Zhao Anan was sure that Mu Qing would never like this kind of girl.

She finished the rest of the Tiramisu quickly, drank her coffee despite it being hot, and walked out of the cafe.

As she walked out, she saw Mi Xiaoxiao kissing the guy’s face, through the window.

What a shameless woman!

Just wait and see, she would definitely not allow Mu Qing to hang with this kind of a woman.

Seeing Zhao Anan leave in the taxi, Mi Xiaoxiao could not help but smile.

The guy held her soft hand and smiled. “Baby, how did I do just now?”

Mi Xiaoxiao leaned against the sofa and allowed her hand to be ma.s.saged by him. She chuckled. “Good. If we go and work in the film industry, we will definitely become the queen and king of the movie industry!”

“Of course!” The guy looked proud and then he asked discreetly, “Then… when will you really become my girlfriend?”

Mi Xiaoxiao pulled out her hand and pinched on his face. She showed a charming smile and said, “Little brother, that depends on how well you behave in the future!”

The guy was used to being teased by others, but now he ended up being teased by her. He could not help but flush and swore. “I am younger than you, but I will definitely take great care of you!”

Mi Xiaoxiao showed a bright face, looking moved. But inwardly, she never took such words seriously.

She had heard such loving words enough times. In the end, they would all turn out to be a bag of wind.

It would be stupid of her to believe them again. But it was alright. She did not care about everlasting love, brief encounters were fine.

This good looking guy was at least warm towards her. Maybe, she could spend a happy night with him.

Zhao Anan went to the Mu’s Hospital straight from there and rushed to Mu Qing’s office as soon as she arrived at the hospital.

Mu Qing was in the middle of examining a patient and he got startled when he saw Zhao Anan coming towards him.

“What is it? You look sweaty.”

Mu Qing spoke in his usual voice, sounding gentle and indulgent.

Probably it had been because they hadn’t talked in a long time, Zhao Anan felt as if she had not seen him for an entire century.

She saw him half an hour ago, but Zhao Anan felt that she had become a stranger for Mu Qing.

But Mu Qing did not feel this way. He talked in a natural and casual way, regarding her as someone close to him.

It seemed as if nothing had happened between them. It seemed that she had never turned down his proposal and he had never gone on a blind date. It seemed that she was still unruly and Mu Qing was still that tolerant man of hers.

“Sit down and drink some water first, I am with a patient.”

Mu Qing looked at Zhao Anan calmly and then turned to the patient. He was not great at distinguis.h.i.+ng the public affairs from private ones, but for his patients, Mu Qing was always utmost professional.

The previous Zhao Anan would have made a fuss despite the patient’s presence, and would have spilled out what she came to say at one go, without bothering about his instructions.

But during the past two days, she discovered so many of her shortcomings and how terrible she had been. She detested the b.i.t.c.h who had gone on a blind date with Mu Qing, but she also learnt a great deal from her.

She stopped herself from saying anything more, and sat down on the chair obediently, waiting for Mu Qing to finish the examination.

Zhao Anan waited for more than half an hour and got extremely impatient. Then she anxiously paced back and forth in the office until Mu Qing finally finished the talk with the patient.

The patient was in her 30s and was going to get an excision surgery. She was very scared of the surgery, so Mu Qing had to tell her about the process calmly and slowly in order to ensure that she relaxed.

After the patient left, Mu Qing looked up at Zhao Anan.

She was not dressed in the PJ as she had the day before, but was wearing a simple black T-s.h.i.+rt and a pair of black sportswear with purple sneakers.

The simple outfit did not showcase her b.r.e.a.s.t.s, nor did they display her slender waist or long legs.

Zhao Anan was as tall as Mi Xiaoxiao, around 170cm. They both had lovely skin, but Zhao Anan was always dressed as a tomboy whilst Mi Xiaoxiao was a s.e.xy dresser.

Zhao Anan hid all of her merits whilst Mi Xiaoxiao showed them all.

Zhao Anan did not like bright colored clothes and chose blacks and greys, mostly. She did not want too much fuss. Since these colors were easy to match, she would always look okay in the combination.

Mi Xiaoxiao, however, liked to dress up in vibrant colors. Apart from the working clothes, she had no other dress in black, except the s.e.xy black stockings.

In principle, Mi Xiaoxiao should have been Mu Qing’s type in every way.

But Mu Qing only had eyes for Zhao Anan. Even if he did not like black clothes, he still found Zhao Anan beautiful, dressed like this.

Even if she was wearing PJs, Mu Qing still found her more attractive than Mi Xiaoxiao who had been clad in a s.e.xy Chanel dress.

That was what was called, “love is blind, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.”

Mu Qing would not change his affection towards her, no matter what she was wearing. He liked her, not her clothes.

Mu Qing had forgotten what Shangguan Ning told him. He just could not keep his distance from Zhao Anan.

He had not seen her or talked with her for ages.

He had wondered about how she was during the past two days. He believed that she must have been devastated.

But when he called Zhao Zhao yesterday, she told him that Anan had slept and eaten two portions of beefsteak for lunch and dinner, along with pasta and consumed half a bottle of red wine.
