He glared at us with a stern look before looking away and yelling, “It's the Dragonlight Cavalry! That's the cavalry that lured our troops into a trap and killed them! G.o.ddammit! Hold your ground! Don't let them get past us!”

I charged forward and met that magic knight head-on. Noticing my actions, he swiftly lifted his s.h.i.+eld high to block my attack!

A swirl of indigo energy appeared on the tip of my Cyan Netherworld Sword while an Eight Trigrams formation whirled below the Armored Ice Qilin Horse. I hit the magic knight with Universe Break, my strongest armor penetration skill!

That magic knight took two steps back under the powerful force of my attack. However, he refused to back down and continued to adopt a defensive position.

I chuckled and swung my sword once again as a golden light enveloped it. That golden light was the prelude to the skill, Crus.h.i.+ng Blow. If I destroyed his s.h.i.+eld, my attack would deal double damage to him. The magic knight turned pale as he quickly swiftly moved his s.h.i.+eld away and sent it back to his inventory.

Little did he know, that move of mine was just a ruse. I cancelled Crus.h.i.+ng Blow before I could activate it completely and instead, unleashed Burning Blade Slash. Wails rang out as three burning crescent waves were shot into the group of players before me. Burning Blade Slash was even more powerful than Crus.h.i.+ng Blow and it sent that Level 155 magic knight and his mount cras.h.i.+ng to the ground. The three consecutive hits from my Burning Blade Slash were truly too OP!

A loud explosion rang out behind me as Chaos Moon unleashed her Rock Crush amid a group of enemies. That explosion was followed by other explosions from High Fighting Spirits' Xiezhi Howl and Eighteen Steeds of You and Yun's Rock Smash. Dragonlight Cavalry easily tore through the defense line of the enemy and slaughtered almost a thousand of them. We were truly invincible!

At this moment, Hot and Sour Noodles pointed his sword and growled, “Greedy Wolf Cavalry, charge!”

Ten thousand Greedy Wolves started to howl before charging head on at the weak point of the encirclement we had created. They continued to charge toward the core of the hundred meter thick encirclement, slaughtering their enemies along the way. With the help of the Greedy Wolf Cavalry from the outside, the Dragonlight Cavalry managed to break through the encirclement.

Since their stats were incomparable to that of the Dragonlight Cavalry, they were naturally unable to charge around as freely as we could.

I reckon that the Greedy Wolf Cavalry would lose about 70% of their players before they could return to Dawn City. Uncle Hot and Sour Noodles truly gave up everything he had just to help us...

There weren't many Northern Alliance players in Dawn Valley left as more than 90% of them were sieging Dawn City. I glanced into the distance at the direction of Wind City and saw groups of Chinese players who were most probably Wind City's reinforcements. However, given their level and equipment, I highly doubt that they would even make it into the city. They would most probably be slaughtered by the Northern Alliance players before they even get close to the city walls.

"Boss Broken Halberd, where are we going?" Gui Guzi asked.

I smiled and replied, "We're going to Windy Trail! We're gonna raid their supplies!"

"Hahahaha! Let's go!!"

High in spirits, we urged our mounts forward toward Windy Trail and reached our destination in less than ten minutes. As expected, there were only a few Northern Alliance players guarding the place. There were a thousand players in front of us, their levels ranged from 140 to 150. Every one of them had three corn symbols above their heads. This meant that every one of them had three Rank 10 food supplies. Their only job was to transport food supplies to their comrades at Dawn City before returning to their city. After gathering new supplies, they would set out for Dawn City again. They would continue to go back and forth and continuously transport supplies. This way, the Northern Alliance players at Dawn City would never starve to death.

I led a party of two hundred Dragonlight Cavalrymen and activated Martial G.o.d as we charged forward. Another transportation party of eight had appeared within the narrow valley. Of which, none were expert players. It was safe to a.s.sume that the Dragonlight Cavalry would suffer zero losses when faced with such opponents. In addition to that, everyone had just repaired their equipment. It was truly the best time to start our killing spree!

"Attack and plunder!"

I urged my mount forward and unleashed Thousand Ice Slash with a swing of my sword, freezing a bunch of Northern Alliance players. High Fighting Spirits led a bunch of Dragonlight Cavalrymen and charged at the enemies, his Dragonlight Shatter smas.h.i.+ng right on top of the s.h.i.+elds of a few magic knights. G.o.ddammit! A leopard never changes its spots! He has no consideration for the durability of his weapon whatsoever. Forget it, he's hopeless! Thankfully, Dragonlight Shatter was a Heaven-grade weapon. It had a relatively high durability so he could keep this up a while longer.

I shot Universe Break straight at an archer's chest, piercing through his armor. He glared at me angrily before dropping a pair of legguards as he collapsed. What made me happier was the white Rank 10 sturgeon he had dropped. Eating that piece of sturgeon enough to fill Satiety of a Level 150 player for at least eight hours. This is good stuff.

Many players in this Nation War were on the verge of starvation. Those who were unable to cope with their hunger gave up fighting and teleported straight back to the city.

Our 1440-strong Dragonlight Cavalry sealed the entrance of the valley and killed any Northern Alliance players who tried to enter. Everyone continued their killing spree with great morale. What made us even happier was that our Nation War contribution points continued to increase dramatically.

The two elite mages of China, Luo River G.o.d of the Capital and Stranger of Three Lifetimes, took second and third place respectively. Beiming Xue, our Dark Archer was fourth. I raised my sword and urged my horse forward, charging straight into the city. My Phantom Wolf King followed closely behind me as we easily eliminated a dozen NPC guards. A thousand Dragonlight Cavalrymen followed my lead and charged into the city, starting their killing spree. We started our ma.s.sacre without fear as those NPC guards were merely Level 155 ancient-rank mobs. Most of the player merchants were still at their fourth or fifth cla.s.s promotion. Taking them down was like a walk in the park.

After wreaking havoc within the city for half an hour, I pointed my sword away from the city and commanded, "Retreat immediately!"

High Fighting Spirits who was having the time of his life asked in shock, "Lu Chen, why are we retreating? I haven't had enough fun killing…"

Chaos Moon gave him a tight slap on his cheek and said, "Listen to our vice leader you moron!"

I let out a cough before saying, "Reinforcements will be here soon. If we don't leave now, we'll be surrounded within the city. No matter how high our HP or Defense are, we may not be able to survive their attacks when we're trapped."
