"Punch my sister in the face for me! You have my blessing!"

"Thanks guys!"

Ria and Auren were saying goodbye to Evlin while they removed themselves from the battlefield.

They decided to reunite with the rest of their friends and leave their leader to handle the pair of over-emotional teenagers.

Ria wasn't sure if it was a good idea to leave Evlin alone, but her and Auren where completely out of power and would just be dead-weight. On top of that, Evlin just drop-kicked Mia from the sky like a meteor so she probably had somehow found a way to be on even ground with them.

"Oh! Guys! Before I forget..."

"...?" x 2

Evlin extended her arms towards Ria and Auren and started to gather some energy on her gauntlets.

"The third ability of healing magic... Power sharing..."

The girl with messy short hair started to send her own magic energy into her friends and the two suddenly started to feel much better. Auren looked at her curious.

"Evlin...? What was that...?? I feel stronger! Was that healing?"

"It was a form of healing. The ability to share a bit of my strength with you two. This will let you make a few more s.h.i.+elds."

Ria stared at her hands and tried to focus. She could feel power surging on the tip of her fingers.

"She's right!! I can feel my power back!! How did you do this?"

"While I was in the white void I tried to explore all the possibilities of what I could do with my magic. Me and Ashley would try to come up with new ideas all the time. So while I was in there, I tested one by one to see which ones could work with my affinity."

"So that's how you managed to fly... How many ideas did you and Ashley came up with?"

"Fifty-four."

"!!!" x 2

"Yeah... Ashley has a looooot of ideas..."

"So... You just tried every single one of them? How many new powers did you get!!!??"

Ria looked like a kid who just found out her favorite show just got renewed with a new season. She wanted to stay there and watch Evlin using all of her new powers to smack her dumb sister but Auren quickly brought her back to reality.

"Ria!! We need to go!!"

"But... But... I wanna see this fight!!!"

"Ria!!" x 2

"Ugh... Fiiiiine... Evlin you better show me all your new powers later!!"

"Deal... Now get to safety!!"

Evlin saw her friends leaving and suddenly heard a scream coming from behind.

"Big siiis!!!! Don't gooooo!!!"

She saw Mia in her silver form starting to glow and return back to her regular body with Marcus standing right behind her.

"Mia?? What are you doing!! We need to kill the girl!!"

"But I don't care about this girl!! I want to play with big sis a bit more!!"

"Are you serious??"

"Yes!!!"

Evlin was confused. She was expecting Mia to start jumping at her like a wild animal but it seems the girl couldn't care less about Evlin.

"Fine... I'll do it myself... Go play with your sister..."

"Thanks darling!! You're the best!!"

Marcus made a pair of swords for Mia and the ponytail girl started to run towards Ria and Auren, completely ignoring Evlin.

"Hey!!! Get back here!!"

The crossbow mage tried to call her attention but she instantly jumped backwards after seeing Marcus trying to stab her with his blade arm.

"Where do you think you're going?"

"Get out of my way Marcus!! She's going to kill my friends!!"

Marcus swung his blades at her once again but thanks to her boosted speed she managed to dodge it.

"I'm not going anywhere... And neither are you..."

"Are you serious?? Do you really hate me so much that you won't even let me protect my family?"

"I could care less about you or your family's safety... We have a score to settle... You were the only one who ever escaped from me..."

"That so? Funny... I also have a score with you... You're the only one who I never got to punch in the face..."

"Then what are you waiting for? Monster girl..."

"You asked for it, momma's boy!"

Marcus turned his arms into a pair of silver hammers while Evlin turned her crossbow into a pair of gauntlets. The two collided with each other releasing a huge shockwave around the area that ended up waking all the demons around them.

The demons started to jump at the two while they exchanged their blows but all they accomplished was getting caught on the crossfire and ending up killed by one of either Evlin's or Marcus's attacks.

Marcus glared at his opponent with bloodl.u.s.t in his eyes.

"I'm killing you for good this time!!"

"I would like to see you try!"

"Biiiiig siiiiiis!!! Come back!!!"

"For heaven's sake, just leave us alone!!!"

Mia was chasing after her sister and Auren while swinging her swords around as if she was catching b.u.t.terflies with a net.

She no longer was being boosted by Marcus's power but she still had access to silver metal so her speed and power were enough to kill someone with ease.

Auren was desperately trying to run alongside Ria and get away from the psychotic little girl but all this running was starting to make him gasp for air.

"Ria!! She's your sister!! How do we deal with her??"

"Easy, get the power to open portals in mid-air, and run to the other side of the world."

"What!!??"

"At least that's what I did to get away from her..."

"Duck!!!!"

Auren grabbed Ria's head and pushed it down towards the ground so it would miss a silver sword that was launched in her direction. The two watched as the blade became engraved in a wall nearby.

"Seriously Ria, you know her better than anyone!! There has to be something you can do to calm her down!!"

"Calm her down?? Have you met her?? Why do you think I even ran away from home in the first place?? My sister NEVER calms down!!"

"Gotcha!!!"

The couple turned around at hearing Mia's scream while jumping on top of them. Auren created a barrier to block her blade but she simply used the barrier as a stepping stone to jump towards where her other sword had landed.

She jumped on the sword that was stabbing the wall and looked at Ria and Auren while standing on top of it.

"You can run for as much as you want big sis, but you will never get away from me!!"

"G.o.d, I'm so sick of you... What the h.e.l.l even is your problem?? Why do you like to torment me so much??"

"Torment?? Why would you say that?? I love you big sis!! All I want is to play with you!!"

"By swinging that sword at my head???"

"It's a sword of love!!"

Ria lost her patience and tried to smack Mia with a golden s.h.i.+eld, but the little girl simply parried the attack and leaped out of the way.

"Let me make this clear!! I don't want anything to do with you!! Ever!!! So just grab your stupid sword and your stupid sword-boyfriend and leave me alone!!!"

"... Big sis... You don't want to play with me?? But... You're the only one who could always keep up with my playtime!!"

"Playtime...?"

Auren looked confused at that remark. He has been wondering this for a while but just what had happened with both of these girls when they were kids? How did they end up like this? What kind of childhood did Mia and Ria even had?

"Ria... Did something happened between you two...?"

"I don't want to talk about it... And I definitely don't want to talk about it with you while she's right in front of us..."

"Big sis... That's not very nice you know...? You two are in love, so you shouldn't keep secrets from each other!!"

"Secrets...? Ria, what's she talking about?"

"See big sis!!? He wants to know too!! Can I tell him??"

"Tell me what? What are you two- Huh!?"

Auren was really getting curious about Mia's and Ria's secret and was about to ask her what this whole thing was about. But then he looked at Ria's face and realized she was crying.

"Ria... I..."

"You see Mr. baldy... The thing is, when big sis and I were young-"

"I don't care!"

"Eh...?"

Mia was about to reveal this mysterious secret Ria was so afraid off, but just as she was about to, Auren decided to cut her off mid-sentence.

"Whatever it is that happened... When she wants to say it, IF she wants to say it... She can say it at her own time... "

"Mr. baldy... You don't want to know about big sis's past?"

"Of course I do... Ria is the woman I love... I want to know everything about her... The good and the bad... I'll accept everything with open arms!"

He took a glance at his fiancee who was now looking at him with wide-open eyes.

"But I'll never force her to do something she clearly doesn't want to. So if she doesn't want me to know about her secret and she thinks it's not important to know... Then of course I'll trust her more than you!"

Auren grabbed Ria's hand and looked her in the eyes.

"I'm so sorry... Seems like I'm still a dummy... You ok?"

"..."

Ria cleaned her tears and hugged the man she loved.

"I will be... Thanks!"

Auren hugged her back and proceeded to glare at Mia.

"We are tired of your silly games Mia. It's time for you to grow up and leave us alone."

"..."

Mia dropped her joyful smile and stared at Auren and Ria together. Her eyes were cold as if she just had something precious stolen from her.

"I thought you two were fun..."

"..." x 2

"I thought we could play together... All three of us..."

"...?" x 2

"But it looks like you're just trying to take my fun away from me... And I simply can't allow that..."

Mia raised her blades and rushed towards the couple. She was coming so fast that Ria began to panic and closed her eyes while hugging Auren.

"Say bye-bye to baldy, big sis!"

The little girl launched herself towards the two but was suddenly frozen in mid-air.

"Eh...!?"

Mia was at a loss and looked at Ria who was just as confused as her. Then, both turned their attention towards Auren who had his arm raised and pointing at her.

He was creating an energy barrier so small that was covering Mia like an aura, making her look like she was glowing in a golden color.

"Bye-bye, Mia..."

Auren said his farewells at the little girl and while keeping her locked inside his barrier, gathered all his power to throw her as high as possible into the sky.

"Aaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!!"

Ria and Auren both looked as the twin-ponytail girl started to disappear among the clouds.

Ria looked at Auren wondering how he managed to build such a precise barrier.

"Auren... How did you-"

"I don't want to see you cry anymore... You crying just feels wrong somehow..."

"..."

"But if you need to cry... I'll be here to lend you a shoulder... Ok...?"

"G.o.d, you're cheesy..."

Ria grabbed Auren's face and pushed it towards her to give him the biggest kiss of his life.

"Please don't ever change!!"

"... ... ... De- Deal..."

Auren's face was so red that he looked like he was kissing a girl for the first time despite already having done it with Ria many times before. But something about this one felt special for him. Like a kiss that said thanks for being someone she could trust, someone she could rely on.

The two were losing themselves in each other's eyes when they heard a large sound coming not too far from their current location.

"What... Was that...?"

They gazed upon the source of the sound and could see a pillar of dark energy rising towards the sky.

The two hurried to check the source of that energy and saw something even scarier than Mia. Their friends, Lilith and Daren, two slayers, and someone they a.s.sumed was the demon leader were all frozen staring at the source of the dark pillar.

"Is that... Is that Ashley??"

Ashley in her dryad body was carrying some kind of black sword and being surrounded by cursed energy.
