Devil's Rise 113 A Devilish Troll

After a short time of consolidating my experience, I broke through with my herblore. Dryads were truly blessed by nature. I would see her again if I came to a bottleneck with my herb lore.

I felt I was ready to attempt to craft Indigo pill-cores after I was done meditating. I used my Aphalla to order 'Basic Tier-2 herbs for learning alchemy', leaving me with 1000 phallic points. It was time for me to take my new experiences and dive wholeheartedly back into alchemy!

On the way to the lab, I saw Seji heading off to the alchemy lab. Was he looking for me?

"Hey, Seji. What brings you around my part of the Castle?" I said.

"No time for talk, mon. A new trial taker is heading to the alchemy lab," said Seji, as he rushed off to the lab before me.

I hurried my steps to catch up with the troll, this was good information. Someone else would be sharing the alchemy lab with me. I had to a.s.sert my dominance, this new trial taker couldn't be getting any ideas about 'The Champ', at least not while I'm around.

When we got to the lab, Seji hid himself in a corner.

"Hey, mon. His first 500 points are mine," said Seji as he disappeared into the shadows.

I shook my head watching Seji work his troll magic. This must have been how he got me before. If only I had swept the area with my u003cSoul Eyesu003e I would have noticed him camouflaged in the corner.

I had no thoughts of separating Seji from his precious 500 points, working on alchemy was a good source of phallic points for me. That didn't mean I couldn't troll the new trial taker as well though, ensuring that he didn't have any designs on 'The Champ'.

Seji's web of information was top cla.s.s, it didn't take long for a fresh face to adorn the alchemy lab. It was a young human male sporting a dark blue robe, with jet black hair, and an ordinate sword on his waist. I stood to the side and watched him walk around the lab in interest.

He didn't speak one word to me, only looking at the descriptions of the various furnaces and cauldrons within the alchemy lab. It didn't take long before he found his way to 'The Champ', she was a beauty after all. 'The Champ' was the largest furnace in the entire lab, anyone with knowledge of alchemy would want to use her. As soon as I saw he had designs on my furnace I made my move!

"Hey, there buddy take two steps back. That furnace belongs to this young devil lord!" I yelled at the black-haired human.

He looked up with me with questioning eyes. As if he didn't take my comment seriously.

"It says these furnaces are for all trial takers," said the black-haired human nonchalantly. 

"You can have whatever furnace or cauldron you want, but 'The Champ' belongs to this young devil lord. If you don't know your place yet pitiful human, I'll be happy to teach you the pecking order. We can settle this dispute in the arena," I said.

"Arrogant devil, you think you can take on this vulnerable one, s.h.i.+ Da, with your paltry skills," said the black-haired man as he pulled out his ordinate sword.

"There's no need for a strappingly handsome devil lord such as myself to me to even lift my hands for an insect such as you. This young devil lord has garnered the respect and fame of the ma.s.ses. My bodyguard will be more than enough for a lightweight like you. Though his skills can't match this young devil lord's, you pale in comparison," I said.

"He doesn't entertain just any challenger for free though, you need to put up 500 phallic points if you want to fight this young devil lords bodyguard in the arena,"

"Sounds like you are just inching to donate 500 phallic points to me, s.h.i.+ Da. Good, I'll be more than happy to rob you of all your phallic points," said the arrogant human as he waved around his sword.

"Seji, this young devil lord has important alchemy to attend to. Please, handle this lightweight for me," I said loudly.

Seji stepped out of the shadows after I called him. I was laughing internally watching the troll step out from the shadows attempting to look like some hidden defender. I was glad he decided to play along with my story.

"Hey, mon. You should be proud Soulless is even letting you into the alchemy lab. How dare you have eyes on 'The Champ'!" said Seji as he came to my side.

"Come face me in the arena if you are so bold. Soulless doesn't have time to deal with your shenanigans, mon! 500 phallic points are at stake."

"Another one who doesn't know the height of the stars and the moon," said s.h.i.+ Da with a hint of surprise upon seeing the green troll appear from the shadows.

"I, s.h.i.+ Da, have never backed down from a challenge. Show me to this arena you guys keep speaking about. I'll show you a true display of swordsmans.h.i.+p," said s.h.i.+ Da as he waved around his sword.

"Ok, mon. Follow me to the arena," said Seji as he motioned for s.h.i.+ Da to follow.

Once s.h.i.+ Da was out of earshot I had a hearty laugh. What a moron, I can't wait until he comes back defeated after losing 500 phallic points and his opportunity to use 'The Champ'. That troll saved me a lot of effort defending my rights.

I put the thoughts about the silly human to the back of my head. His fate was sealed as soon as he decided to follow Seji to the arena. I brushed up on my alchemy skills crafting a few Orchid cultivation a.s.sistance pill-cores. Afterward, I transformed them into Qi-Gathering pills.

After about an hour, I finished up my practice crafting when in walked a distraught black-haired human. He looked like he had been in an accident, his robe was torn and his hair was a mess. Seji didn't go easy on the poor fool.

"Vile fiend, you tricked me! How dare you say that beast was your bodyguard," said s.h.i.+ Da upon seeing me working at 'The Champ'.

I laughed to his face, "Donating your first 500 phallic points to Seji is a rite of pa.s.sage for every new trial taker in Satyr Castle. Even this young devil lord had to give him 500 phallic points, get over it. I just used the d.a.m.n trolls ambitions to my advantage to keep what is rightfully mine," I said.

s.h.i.+ Da eyed me with fury, as he stormed off to work with another furnace. He was already plotting his revenge against this shameless devil!
