The Stegosaurus looked at me as I started my grand charge, his eyes were filled with a strange amount of intelligence. He gazed upon me with questioning eyes as he felt my u003cHollow Aurau003e then turned his head away and lifted it to the sky, like I wasn't even worth noticing. The d.a.m.ned Stegosaurus was looking down on me! Have I fallen so far that even mindless beasts could look down on my u003cHollow Aurau003e?

As I drew closer to the Stegosaurus, I realized my mistake. My grand charge was actually a casual stroll. The intense gravity of the Savage World had severely restricted my movement. I hadn't noticed it before because most of the time I had been slowly sneaking around. When I tried to charge forth and use my essence to fight, I was slow. Way too slow to be a peak-Baron.

I was moving as if I was a Knight, and not even a very good one, under this strong gravity. The Stegosaurus ignored me and walked away calmly before I could even get into striking distance. I stopped running and panted a bit while recovering my essence. The gravity was way too strong here!

I would have a grueling time slaying this Stegosaurus, even though he was battered and bruised. An injured low-Baron savage beast didn't even put me in his eyes. I was beyond pitiful right now. I would have to get used to this gravity if I was to slay this disrespectful beast!

I could by all rights start with an even weaker savage beast, but that Stegosaurus' disrespectful gaze had thoroughly offended this young devil lord. Lesser races had been disrespecting the glory of my u003cHollow Aurau003e. Now even mindless beasts were too, what was next insects? Death was his sentence!

I collected myself from my soundless defeat and began stalking the Stegosaurus, as he ate random gra.s.s and leaves, paying me no attention.

'Your condescending nature shall be your doom, little Stegosaurus, how dare you look down on this young devil lord,' I thought.

Stalking the Stegosaurus was grueling work, this gravity was no joke. The stupid beast was moving slowly and studly, consuming anything in his path. While he ate everything he could get his greedy little eyes on I was gradually getting more accustomed to the gravity of this world.

'When I am no longer burdened by this gravity will be the moment I chopped off your head,' I thought.

This foul beast was a glutton. He had consumed many Tier-2 herbs and gra.s.ses during the time I had followed him. Somehow he would always eye me before he took a bite. As if saying I was unworthy of these things.

'Gloat while you can beast, soon your end will come. This young lord is getting better and better at moving through this gravity,' I thought as the gravity became easier to navigate through.

Soon we came to an open field with many plants and gra.s.ses scattered around. In the middle of the field, I saw something that caught my eye. It was a fiery red plant exuding a majestic aura. My eyes filled with longing upon seeing this plant. That was a Tier-3 Fire Lotus!

It was a great plant for crafting a cultivation recovery pill-core. This was a Tier-3 ingredient I surely needed. I looked at the Fire Lotus, then looked at the Stegosaurus, while the Stegosaurus looked at me, then looked at the Fire Lotus. He had caught a glimpse of the longing in my eyes.

He began walking with a new swagger towards the Fire Lotus, licking his lips after exchanging glances with me. This d.a.m.nable beast wanted to eat my prized Tier-3 ingredient. I could not let that happen at any cost. I would fight with my life on the line for that Fire Lotus versus this gluttonous brute.

I quickened my steps under the tremendous gravity pressure to cut off the Stegosaurus. Somehow the Stegosaurus gained increased speed from nowhere.

Before he was moving around like an old turtle chomping at whatever came in his path. Now he was like a hare being chased by a fox. His stubby legs were moving faster and faster as he barreled towards the Fire Lotus.

The Stegosaurus had pulled a ma.s.sive lead on me in our race to get the Fire Lotus. He was 10 feet away while I was 20 feet away. The stupid beast was still faster than me!

Eventually, he closed in on the Fire Lotus while I was still 15 meters away. He stared me right in the eyes when he got in front of my precious Fire Lotus.

"Don't you dare!" I bellowed at the savage beast with all my fury.

A smile seemed to have crept on his face when he heard the anger in my voice, as he inched his mouth towards the Fire Lotus.

He slowly opened his ma.s.sive jaws, sticking out his long tongue. I had seen him eat many things before, after stalking him for the past few hours. Normally he would just chomp them down, consuming them. This time he took his sweet time. He was deliberately taunting me!

This beast had to die, there was no salvation for this savage beast. I would chase this d.a.m.nable thing to the end of the Savage Land if I had to. How dare a mindless beast taunt this young devil lord?

I slowly walked closer to the Fire Lotus, while fighting back the ma.s.sive gravity, attempting to come in range of the beast before his jaws closed in. Destiny u0026 Freedom appeared in my hands.

A meandering lightning arc shot forth towards the savage beast. The gravity affected not only my movement, but it also restricted my use of Dao skills.

When he saw the lightning arc bolt towards him, he immediately chomped down my precious Fire Lotus swallowing it whole. I was beyond furious when I caught sight of this. A gluttonous beast had consumed a precious herb that I could use to practice my alchemy!

"Die!" I screamed.

He curled up in a ball to defend from my attacks. His battered plates looking even more dest.i.tute from my a.s.sault. I painted an enormous grin across my face, seeing the miserable appearance of the Stegosaurus' defensive plates.

This young devil lord had gotten a bit more accustomed to the gravity. It was time for me to wipe this d.a.m.nable creature off the face of the Savage Land!
