I looked over my collection of resources in my purple-gold ring and was ecstatic. So many resources plundered from the Savage Land. And I even had an astonis.h.i.+ng collection of pills and weapons that I had made in my spare time. When this young lord goes back to the Hudson Estate [Libra] will move forward in leaps and bounds with this stuff.

As much as I enjoyed staying in the Savage Land, it was now time for me to say goodbye. The shameless satyr said I had to leave my garden, so had no choice. I threw my bug and my turtle in my beast sack, dug up my Serpent Cedar tree, pulled out my Aphalla, and ported back to Satyr Castle.

"Hey mon, it's time you pay up!" I heard a voice say from my Aphalla as soon as I made it back to Satyr Castle.

It took no time for the shameless troll to come to find me! I didn't even get to take a breath before he was breathing down my neck, looking for payment for his useless map.

"I didn't even use your stupid map troll," I said as I brought out the map and burned it right in his face.

"A deals a deal mon, you can't go breaking deals as a member of the Labyrinth Sect Soulless," said Seji as he shamelessly swaggered about.

"You!" I said in fury.

"I don't even have any phallic points right now, give me time to sell off some of my gains and I'll settle my debt."

I headed back to my room, pulled out my Aphalla, and opened the market. Looking at the number of phallic points I could get from my resources, my heart bled. I would have to sell off twenty five percent of the stuff I had crafted during my entire time in the Savage Land just to pay back this troll.

Twenty five percent of years of work, for one hour of that shameless troll's actions. He was like a tax man, greedily taking my profits with no decorum. I gave in, putting my items on the market to sate the troll's greed. I didn't know exactly how the Labyrinth Sect worked, so I had no choice in the matter.

As soon as I put the items on the market, I went to go see Zat, I wouldn't be scammed again in this place.

Zat was in his study ready to see me, lazily sitting on his couch with his phallus out.

"Now that you are a member of the Labyrinth Sect there're some things you need to know, sit down and I'll fill you in," said Zat.

"The Labyrinth Sect is more powerful than you could imagine, Satyr Castle is but one faction in the sect. Sadly, we are on the decline as far as Labyrinth Sect factions go, there aren't many powerful people within our faction. Explaining it to you wouldn't do you any good as you are still less than an insect," said Zat as he actually exuded the aura of an elder for once.

"The Labyrinth Sect only nurtures experts, those that are weak have no meaning within our ranks. As a Tier-4 cultivator you barely make the cut to be a servant within the Labyrinth sect, so be proud of your good fortune. In established factions they have a cutoff at Tier-6 for servants, sadly my Satyr Castle is one of the weaker factions so I have to make do with what I can get."

"The Labyrinth relic you heard about within your realm is merely an annual recruitment drive for the Labyrinth sect. People compete for the chance to join our ranks. Those that headed back to their homelands didn't make the cut. That's right, all those glorious figures you heard about that have made great gains in your realm didn't even have the talent to join our ranks."

"Technically speaking you have a choice, you can refuse to join Satyr Castle faction and proceed to the difficult relic trials in hopes of joining one of the glorious factions of the Labyrinth sect, or you can enjoy your good fortune of joining Satyr Castle faction here and now."

Interesting, it seems this shameless Satyr actually needs me. Though I have no idea why. I better see if I can scam a few more resources out of him.

"What are the benefits of joining Satyr Castle?" I said, hoping he would give me more benefits.

"Little devil, I allowed you to wreak havoc in my lower world for two years. I even gifted you a Void Queen to raise. You're too weak to even understand what a Void Queen really is," said Zat as he grabbed the air pulling my beast sack to him taking out my bug.

"Void Queens are what they call themselves, but everyone else calls them by another name, Void Scourge. These detestable little creatures go around destroying worlds like locust. Breeding and consuming everything in their wake."

"That chaotic area of the void near the Savage Land is a territory inhabited by a mature Void Scourge Queen. Not even the s.p.a.ce was spared from its insufferable hunger. The only reason it stays away from the Savage Land is my presence."

"I even enlightened you on the path of devilry gifting you the '108 paths of d.a.m.nation' a priceless treasure for those of your race. Has your treatment as a servant of Satyr castle not been generous?"

"Yes," I said. Hearing him put it in such terms, it seemed I was getting excellent treatment in Satyr Castle faction. The treatment I had gotten was much better than anywhere I had been before.

"Well at least you understand, now kowtow to your Sect Leader," said Zat.

I did the normal ceremony of disciple acceptance, kowtowing to the shameless Satyr.

"Now I'm going to forget how you killed another recruit by skirting the rules in the Savage Land. But don't let that happen when you interact with actual members of Satyr Castle. Finding seedlings with enough talent is grueling work for your old Castle Leader."

"Now let me see that book you've been carrying around, I bet it hasn't said a peep at you while it's been here right?"
