I found out Summer Flash had been destroyed during the long years I was gone. It was unfortunate, that was my first s.h.i.+p. But that s.h.i.+p meant nothing to me now.

"Look there's a s.h.i.+p coming into dock."

"What's that jolly roger, isn't there a well-known s.h.i.+p with a hammer-ax?"

"It's the Booty Brigade!"

Thankfully Jax had only targeted the pirates during his time in the Cove of Death, so the s.h.i.+p didn't garner any unnecessary attention when docking at Coldridge base. Although I did suffer many strange looks when getting off of the s.h.i.+p.

"I thought the captain of the Booty Brigade was a ghost."

"It seems it was a perverted devil."

"That devil ain't right!"

"At least he's on our side."

"Yeah imagine if you had to head out into those dangerous waters knowing there was a menace after your chast.i.ty."

"The waters in the Cove of Death have been calm ever since the Booty Brigade showed up."

I ignored the peanut gallery, I had a beauty on my arms and didn't have to explain myself to trash. Jax really screwed up this young lord's reputation though. Whatever no one will cross me if they think I'm some kinda s.e.xual deviant. I'm under the ident.i.ty of Soulless in this kingdom anyway.

I headed off to the mission hall to get my fief, after waiting for a short while the attendant was ready to see me.

"I would like to receive the merits I have acc.u.mulated in my time in the Cove of Death," I said.

"I'm sure you guys keep a good track of merits acc.u.mulated by devils. I've been at sea for a long time, here's my jolly roger."

I handed my hammer-ax flag to the attendant.

When she saw it she had the strangest face.

"Sir this is beyond me, I'll have to take this to my supervisor for authentication," said the attendant as she scurried off to the back to find her manager with the hammer-ax jolly roger.

I waited around for a bit when in walked a short and fat devil.

"You want to claim the merits for the Booty Brigade?" said the short devil.

"Yes, sir. I've been working hard to acc.u.mulate merits for years. I feel my time at the Cove of Death has come to an end so I want my compensation," I said.

"I'm Orneck Zagell, a descendant of the glorious Zagell Empire. I've recently been a.s.signed here. After investigating this jolly roger I believe this is a forgery, the hammer-ax jolly roger of the Booty Brigade looks nothing like this. I deny you any merits and sentence you to be locked up for treason," said the short devil as he brought out a knock-off hammer-ax jolly roger that didn't belong to me.

"Are you questioning the words of this young lord?" I said as I eyed this Orneck fellow.

This Orneck was seeking his death. But I'll play his little game for now.

"Guards! Lock this vile criminal up immediately," screamed Orneck Zagell.

Four powerful Viscount guards came out surrounding me.

"Are you sure you want to offend me Orneck?" I said.

"Shut up criminal, and enjoy your time locked up in jail," said Orneck.

"Well, I don't know anything about jail. But my butler knows a thing or to about it. Jax your young lord has found you some booty," I said as I brought out Jax's ball u0026 chain.

Out came Jax in his butler uniform looking refined and sophisticated, nothing like the devious brute he used to be.

Jax shook his head as he looked around at the people surrounding us.

"This won't do young lord," said Jax.

He then bowed to the surrounding Viscounts.

"Hi, I am Jax, the chief butler of the young lord Soulless. I am pleased to meet your acquaintance. On behalf of my young lord I beg you to stand down," said Jax.

"You see I am a revered connoisseur of booty. Booty is a dish to be enjoyed with only the finest wines and cheeses. On my great travels, I've enjoyed the most exquisite booty that the Cove of Death has to offer. Frankly, I find what you have presented to me disturbing, this booty is sub-par."

The four Viscounts became wary as they heard the ghost speaking. They knew a powerful ghost helmed the Booty Brigade, but from their reports, he was not elegant and sophisticated like the one in front of them. He was a deranged ghost that yelled out obscenities before defiling all the pirates he could find.

"My young lord has offered me this gracious gift, nevertheless I hope to decline. Gentleman we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The choice is yours."

One of the Viscounts had enough of Jax's speaking and released his domain to attack.

A torrent of ice covered Jax. Jax was unaffected by the ice as he brushed off his coat.

"It looks you are choosing the hard way, good sir. Fisticuffs are fit not for the eyes of a young madam, please avert your gaze, Ayla. I will take care of these miscreants for you young lord. I tried to speak with reason young lord nevertheless they refused my good intentions," said Jax as he bowed to me.

Jax then turned around and grew ma.s.sive, destroying the decorum he had before.

"GIVE ME THAT BOOTY," said Jax.

The surrounding streets were blanketed with Jax's ghostly fog. As howls and wails came from within the terrifying fog.

Upon seeing the u003cPrison Shower Domainu003e being released 3 of the Viscount's instinctively cliched their behinds. Their young master had offended someone he couldn't afford to offend. This was the ghostly captain that manned the Booty Brigade, he was very strong and very insane!

Jax proceeded to pelt the four Viscounts into submission as they kneeled over pleading for their chast.i.ty.

"Please ghostly captain spare us!" said Viscount Guard #1.

"We know our wrongs!" said Viscount Guard #2.

"I can get you plenty of booty from the local prison. Spare mine!" said Viscount Guard #3.

"Take me here daddy, I'm a power bottom," said Viscount Guard #4 as he smiled. He seemed to be a pervert as well, no wonder he worked as a prison guard.

"You four will go nicely with a bottle of Chardonnay," said Jax as he shrank back to his small form.

As soon as he saw his guards being dismantled Orneck Zagell scuttled off to go find back up. I noticed his movements but did nothing to stop him. Once you beat up the little one the big one always has to come out to play. I was itching for a good fight and knew no one stationed at the Cove of Death would be beyond Viscount.

Pretty soon an arrogant voice came out as the entire area was frozen in time.

A masked young devil woman walked out with Orneck licking at her heels. He immediately pointed to me.

"It was him, young dame, he has no respect for you at all! He even dared to say that you're ugly but he could still find a place for you in his harem," said Orneck flipping black to white.
