“Here’s my name card, President Tang. Let’s get acquainted!”

“This is my phone number, President Tang. Let’s do lunch some day!”

Everyone crowded excitedly around Tang Hao, piling on the flattery.

The kid was a big boss. There was no harm in getting on his good side.

Some of the single women inched closer to him and sent him hints.

Qin Xiangyi was pulled over by several women. They started chatting non-stop.

Yan Lili gritted her teeth when she saw that. The envy in her heart raged.

He Zhengyu, standing next to her, looked a little sheepish. He was the one who was supposed to be in the limelight, but the kid had s.n.a.t.c.hed all the attention.

He was envious, but he was helpless. Indeed, he was more handsome than the kid, but he was less capable or rich!

He glanced at his angry wife, then discreetly sneaked away and took a gla.s.s of wine from a servant nearby.

Yan Lili glared at Qin Xiangyi one more time, then turned her gaze at Tang Hao.

She pulled several of her good friends over and they started whispering among themselves.

Meanwhile, several of the males, including w.a.n.g Jiadong, looked at Tang Hao unhappily.

“Dammit, he just has some more money, that’s all. What’s he so smug about?”

“Brother Dong! That kid has s.n.a.t.c.hed our beauty queen and is so arrogant about it. We ought to teach him a lesson.”

The men started talking among themselves as well.

Eventually, Tang Hao managed to extricate himself from the crowd.

He looked to his left and right, and his mouth stretched into a curious grin.

He realized that the two groups of people were trying to get back at him.

The surroundings were noisy but Tang Hao managed to catch the gist of what they were talking about.

He thought about it for a bit, and his expression returned to normal. He walked around the hall while carefully observing everything around him. About ten minutes later, he asked the servant where the washroom was and went there.

Right after he stepped into the washroom, three people followed in and closed the door.

w.a.n.g Jiadong took the lead. Behind him were two other men who were quite well-built. They glared at Tang Hao with hostile expressions.

“You sound like you have a lot of money, kid! But you shouldn’t be too arrogant about it, otherwise, careful that you get beaten up!”

w.a.n.g Jiadong spoke with his head tilted like a hooligan.

“Why are we still talking to him, Brother Dong? We ought to beat him up first. No matter how rich he is, he’s still a country b.u.mpkin from a small backwater district. He’s a n.o.body in River Delta City.”

“Right, we’ll beat him up, then we’ll talk!”

The two people behind him shouted.

w.a.n.g Jiadong looked at Tang Hao with disgust and smirked. “Tsk, you’re just lucky that Xiangyi has an eye for you, kid!”

“That Qin Xiangyi has an excellent body. And her skin, wow! It’s so fair and delicate. I don’t mind losing a few years of my life if I get to touch it!”

The two people behind him laughed brazenly.

Tang Hao narrowed his eyes. They flashed with a hint of coldness.

‘These three people have a death wis.h.!.+’

He reached out with his hand which was as fast as lightning, grabbed w.a.n.g Jiadong’s hair, and slammed it against the wall.

Bang! The head suffered a solid knock.

w.a.n.g Jiadong grunted as the concussion left him in a daze. His forehead was split open and blood was flowing.

His two lackeys were immediately stunned when he saw that.

Tang Hao tossed w.a.n.g Jiadong aside and stepped forward. He grabbed their faces with one hand each and slammed it against the wall.

Bang! Bang!

The two people were immediately knocked out. Their eyes glazed over and soon became silent.

w.a.n.g Jiadong was shocked when he saw that. ‘This kid is a martial arts expert!’

Tang Hao tossed the two people aside and walked toward w.a.n.g Jiadong. w.a.n.g Jiadong tried to scuttle backward on all fours, already scared out of his wits.

Tang Hao grabbed his hair and lifted him up. “Show any disrespect toward her and I’ll make sure that you regret it!”

Then, he pushed w.a.n.g Jiadong’s face into the wall a few times, knocking him out by brute force. Then, he tossed him aside and breathed a sigh of relief. He felt a lot better.

He tidied his suit, opened the door, and walked out.

After closing the door behind him, he twisted the doork.n.o.b and snapped it right off, then left the scene.

He had only walked a short distance when he saw a woman in a black evening gown walking toward him. She was tall, slender, and s.e.xy.

When they pa.s.sed by each other, she yelped and fell on the floor.

She rubbed her foot as she sat on the floor moaning in pain. She pursed her lips when she noticed Tang Hao looking at her, pretending to look pitiful.

Tang Hao was surprised. ‘Those women outside are trying really hard to nail me. This woman does have a nice body.’

Tang Hao pretended to head over heels for her.

The woman was secretly happy when she saw Tang Hao’s expression.

Indeed, no man could resist her charms.

“Are you OK, beautiful lady?” Tang Hao crouched down next to her and asked eagerly.

“Oh no, I twisted my foot! Won’t you help me?” She said coyly and winked at Tang Hao.

“Sure! How can I help you though?” Tang Hao immediately said.

“There are a few rooms over there. Can you carry me over?” She said coyly, though her tone of voice made it too obvious that she was faking it.

Tang Hao hurriedly helped her to her feet.

“Ow!” She yelped as she leaned toward Tang Hao’s body.

Tang Hao helped her walk to one of the empty rooms nearby.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the corridor, Yan Lili and a few other women watched as the two people entered the room. They immediately looked gleeful.

“I should have known that all men are perverts!” Yan Lili mocked, but immediately added, “Of course, that does not include my honey.”

Her friends’ expressions turned peculiar when they heard that but soon returned to normal.

They waited for a while more and guessed that the couple was getting it on. They returned to the hall with arrogant expressions on their faces and walked toward Qin Xiangyi.

“Oh, Xiangyi! Where’s your man? I haven’t seen him around!”

“Right! We’re looking for Fang Ya. Have you seen her? We haven’t seen her for some time either,” Yan Lili said loudly.

Qin Xiangyi furrowed her brows.

“Are you sure you don’t know where your boyfriend is? We noticed that he was exchanging glances with Fang Ya earlier. Maybe he’s flirting with her?”

“They might be making out somewhere right now!”

Everyone who heard that exclaimed in surprise.
