Yu w.a.n.g entered the cell with antic.i.p.ations. Lei Xinyi always had something in store to keep the elements of surprise.

She was nuts but his favorite prisoner.

Last time she was here she cracked open two men heads still being bind by ropes upside-down. Her spitfire personality entertained and irked him.

To him she was better dead than all the efficiency she was worth of.

Inching closer in the room he observed she was looking around frantically, he wouldn't be surprised if this was one of her tricks.

She was a psycho, she could read people and play them to oblivion and demise.

Standing above her head he smirked, "Lei Xinyi, remember me and this place?"

She almost killed him the last time she was here by feigning this same trick of having a panic attack and fainting and when he released her to give her medical a.s.sistance she jumped him.

Thinking back to the time he was bedridden for two months he gritted his teeth in anger. He had to deal with the pain for week and humiliation for months of being beaten by that wench.

The girl in the ropes was shaking like a leaf and panting like a fish out of water, hyper venting. Her face was contoured in fear, pain and anxiety.

Yu w.a.n.g rolled his eyes in exasperation, "Oh, come on woman! You don't really think that same trick will work twice? Just drop the act already!"

Lu Xinyi panting turned more heavy that's when Yu w.a.n.g noticed the beads of sweat on her forehead and and her glazing eyes.

She couldn't have faked that!

His eyes widened at once. She wasn't acting, she was having a panic attack for real. He stepped forward and tapped her cheeks.

"Lei Xinyi! Lei Xinyi! Stay awake..."

Lei Xinyi eyes rolled over and her head went limp in his hands. He opened her one eye only to see they were not responsive.

"s.h.i.+t!" He muttered under his breath and waved a hand through his hair in frustration.

Before he could think of his next move, he heard urgently rus.h.i.+ng footsteps from behind him where he turned to see Jiang Qiqnin coming his way with rage as his armor.

"You promised you wouldn't hurt her! I told you she was in a critical condition!" Jiang Qinqin shouted with resentment.

Narrowing his eyes at his best friend Yu w.a.n.g shouted back, "You think I did it deliberately?"

Realizing his mistake Jiang Qinqin let out an agitated sigh, "Just get out of my sight. I need to take her to the medical ward."

Jiang Qinqin went forward and untied her and carried her unconscious body bridal style out of the dungeon...

In the late evening in the VIP booth of a renowned bar, the air was thick enough to be cut. The tension was building with each pa.s.sing second.

The blasting music could be heard from the bar below them; Yu w.a.n.g stood by the railing observing the chaotic crowd and bustling excitement from the people, drinking their nights away.

He was drained by the morning's event. Lei Xinyi condition was awe-worthy to him. He could see the helplessness and fear in her eyes but more than amazement it was confusing and strange to him.

The people who loose their memories don't lose their personalities!

It was the most familiar place they could offer her. Her condition was unbelievable but it was in front of them they couldn't deny it.

The place was exclusively high-end and off-limits to common people. Reservations for private rooms had to be made at least an year ago or if you are influential months in advance.

Only people as them could make reservation this whimsically.

Uninterested in the scene on his floor, he was more entertained by the swaying women.

He glanced to the men in the room. The men dressed gentlemanly here were savages, unapologetic and unrestrained. Beasts... including him.

Their power and wealth was raw and primal. You could feel it from their auras.

He twirled the scotch in his gla.s.s. He always needed something strong to get through these monthly get-togethers.

He eyed the pensive situation in front of him. Yu Youhan, Yu Jian and Jiang Qinqin were seated on one Victorian style couch and across from them Li Yaun, Li Qiang and Ji Zhou on a similar couch.

The room was designed to be vintage and exquisite to match the taste of the men in the room. It was a private room.

All the men in the room looked loosen up or slacken but a wise men knew better than that to let their guard down in their presence. They were all capable of horrendous things without blinking.

They trusted no one not even their offside-rs of power or those who came from the same womb as them. They were swirling drinks with leisure.

"So cousin, a little birdie told me you knocked up a pretty wh.o.r.e with your sp.a.w.n that you are hiding in your estate." Li Yaun said with a mocking smile in Yu Youhan direction.

The tension in the room intensified and every man in the room held their breaths. Yu Youhan shot Li Yuan a menacing glare but Li Yuan looked unfazed.

It was obvious Li Yaun mole didn't have any concrete info. He only knew of a girl's existence.

Everybody in the room could tell Li Yuan was pus.h.i.+ng Yu Youhan b.u.t.tons to get a reaction or fis.h.i.+ng information. It was his favorite hobby.

Yu Youhan lifted his drink to sip and smirked, "Rumor had it that you got dumped by the church girl and now you are wagging your tail for her like a lost puppy. Must feel mortifying to have made a cuckold out of yourself." He was referring to Lu Xinyi as the church girl.

Of course he didn't know much about his fiance at all too because the Li's and Lu's kept Lei Xinyi off everyone's radar for security purposes.

Ego was an issue for these men bigger than the Pacific ocean so of course it hit home. n.o.body would dare say this except Yu Youhan.

Yu Youhan was the eldest of all the cousins and Li Yaun was a couple of months younger than him so naturally they wielded the most aura and power.

Li Yaun let out a sarcastic laugh that told he was anything but amused, "Indeed it did. So... when are you introducing sister-in law to us. In fact why not call her here. She must feel lonely and scared in the Mansion alone, I heard she is a little faint hearten." Li Yuan finished with a taunting grin.

Li Yuan knew well the kind of gathering it was. Once in the month they would meet up to keep things cool between them. Things were unpredictable here. No one would dare bring a girl here.

Everybody in the room eyed the two powerhouses the each trying to fuse the other.

Yu Youhan looked on the edge, about to burst and Li Yaun grin told he was enjoying the building tension. The room was dropping degrees with each pa.s.sing second by the built pressure.

Yu Jian cleared his throat and to dissolve the situation said, "Let's order something. It getting late and I am famished."

"I would second that." Li Qiang quickly added and ringed for the bell to call the waiter.

Yu w.a.n.g who was waiting for the some action scoffed. Always the peacemakers!

All of them were equally f*cked up if not more. So there was no need to measure their d.i.c.ks to see who is more self destructive than the others.
