Lei Xinyi was eating her lunch with pride as a smug expression took over her face. She just had rejected The great Li Yaun who was dignified to the point of insanity.

His temper was like onyx, if you are not careful your single mistake in handling could you cost a life but she wasn't interested in nursing his spoiled temperament.

The cafeteria was bustling when immediately it was shushed to a deafening silence.

Weirded out Lei Xinyi's eyes searched for the cause of the horror to find a.s.sistant Ji standing there with two female guards dressed in black.

Lei Xinyi heart dropped to her stomach and she forcefully gulped down the morsel of food in her mouth.

She had thought he was bluffing and that he wouldn't cause a scene.

Lei Xinyi stood up bewildered, to leave the premises as soon as possible. She didn't want to be the next hot news swirling around.

"All of you are requested to kindly vacate the cafeteria this instant." a.s.sistant Ji I-only-mean-business tone stopped Lei Xinyi in her tracks.

No one dared say a word!

She immediately turned pale, people around her at once rushed to their feet and rushed out of the cafeteria as if a volcano was erupting magma.

In the heavy crowd, Lei Xinyi too tried to blend in so she could escape.

Lei Xinyi walked as hope bloomed in her heart. She was just three steps away from the exit door. She walked.

She was just a step away from her freedom when a hand clutched around her upper arm and pulled her out of the bustling crowd.

Lei Xinyi turned to glare at the slayer of her hopes only to find two twin Amazonian giving her blank looks.

Lei Xinyi tugged and struggled but couldn't get herself free. She wanted to shout and protest but she just couldn't bring the attention to herself.

The whole Cafeteria was emptied in seconds leaving only Lei Xinyi with her captors.

a.s.sistant Ji turned to her and gave her a look of pure despise and contempt.

Lei Xinyi momentary froze. Why was he looking at her like she had stolen the love his life...

Lei Xinyi eyes widened as a thought struck her. a.s.sistant Ji didn't like her from the moment she first entered the building!

Could it be... he was in love with Li Yaun and thought of her as a love rival.

She gasped at the thought and covered her mouth with her free hand.

a.s.sistant Ji looked confused by her reaction but before any of them could say anything the door opened revealing a very angry Li Yuan.

Lei Xinyi could literally see the place freezing by his cold aura. Her voice died in her throat.

He didn't make a conversation or threats this time instead started dragging Lei Xinyi by her arm.

Despite all her struggles, he pulled her in his private elevator straight to his office.

As the office door opened Lei Xinyi sprang away from him and ma.s.saged her arm that was surely going to bruise later.

"I must say, I am not impressed!" She spat glaring at him.

Li Yaun stalked toward her trapping her between his new office desk and him.

"Oh, Yeah?" He asked with mock interest.

Lei Xinyi scoffed "Such an overrated move! Who would be?"

Li Yaun came closer to her till they were only a breath away. She could feel his breath on her face.

He was close, although he wasn't touching her, she felt sparks rush her body.

"Tell me my Raven, how many of your 'admirers' can vacate an area as such, to listen to you utter bullsh*t like that?"
