The next two days pa.s.sed in a blur and today was the day she was going on her first day to meet the Devil. And oh…. She was d.a.m.n ready to succ.u.mb her soul to that devil.

Looking at the mirror for the last time Lei Xinyi admired her reflection. She had straight ebony black hairs in layers, that flowed on her back, with contrast to her slightly tan skin.

She had all the curves in the right places, with generous breast and a.s.s. Of course she was a sight for sore eyes.

She was wearing a curt red dress with strappy six inches that elevated her already tall stature, as she was 5'9.

She didn't wear too much make up as she simply didn't need it, just eyeliner to make her already vibrant eyes even more manifest.

Looking at her once over, she thought 'If Lu Xinyi looked anything like me, I am sure the man was a lucky b.a.s.t.a.r.d but unfortunately he lost her before he could even get her. Now he will have to make do with her, the twisted version of Lu Xinyi.'

Just when Lei Xinyi was getting bewitched by her reflection the door opened to reveal a maid, "Young Miss, your ride is ready." The maid informed.

Nodding in her direction, Lei Xinyi picked her sungla.s.ses and walked to the driver who was waiting for her.

The ride was spend with Lei Xinyi scrolling through her phone, on an abrupt stop the driver announced, "Young Miss, we are here."

Getting out Lei Xinyi headed to the receptionist, while she subtly smirked at the turning heads, she didn't need a lover to sing her praises.

The attention and l.u.s.tful gazes she received fed her ego.

She was an aspiration they could never achieve…. Attention flowed through her body like blood.

Flipping her hairs Lei Xinyi took off her gla.s.ses and asked the staring receptionist, "I am here for Mr. Li Yuan as his new secretary." with a confident smirk.

Getting out of her stupor, the receptionist asked baffled, "M..Miss your name?"

Getting in her acting mode, Lei Xinyi pa.s.sed a timid smile as she almost whispered, "Lu Xinyi."

Regaining her composure the receptionist typed something on her Macbook and said, "Miss, please head to the topmost floor and take this."

As Lei Xinyi looked at her questioningly she replied, "Pa.s.sword to the elevator."

She took the packed envelope from her and pa.s.sed her a grateful smile and headed to the elevator.

Once inside the elevator she tore the envelope that had a pa.s.sword typed, apparently the topmost floor required a pa.s.sword for entry, as she pushed the floor b.u.t.ton and pressed the pa.s.sword keys.

"Isn't that the CEO's floor?" Lei Xinyi heard the only man inside the elevator except her say. The man was tall and handsome.

Lei Xinyi smirked inwardly but pa.s.sed a shy smile and looking at the floor nodded.

Looking at her up and down the man leaned backward, with his hands in his pocket he smirked, "The CEO's floor. Well you don't look his usual type…"

"Actually you are misunderstanding. I..I am his new secretary." Lei Xinyi said abruptly as she was embarra.s.sed but then looking back at the floor and continued biting her lips.

The man smiled at her cute behavior then said leaning forward, extending his hand, "I am Wen Junhui. I am the head of the financial department. If any CEO's b.i.t.c.h make trouble for you, let me know cause you may not be the CEO's usual type but you are definitely mine."

Lei Xinyi accepted his extended hand and said shyly, "Lu Xinyi and thank you."

At the same time the elevator 'dinged' announcing the arrival of his floor, shrugging his shoulder he said with a smile of his own, "Then until next time, right?" and Lei Xinyi nodded at him.

As the elevator closed again Lei Xinyi smirked. Not even 10 minutes has pa.s.sed since she arrived and she has a fan already.

Then she started checking her perfectly manicured nails leaning against the elevator's wall.

While at the same time Li Yuan looked at Lei Xinyi interactions through the cameras with pursed lips and a somber expressions.
