The past days had been filled with tranquility for Lu Xinyi. She got the freedom to speak for herself. The maids were nomore ignoring her like a plague or not responding to her.

Although their gestures and tones were still harsh and cold she didn't mind them alot. Jiang Qinqin was so much doting and affectionate toward her to care about mere flies.

He would bring her sweets and fast foods and talk to her about too many things and tell her stories of childhood and how they foooled around.

Lu Xinyi felt her cheeks heated at the thought of him. He was sweet and funny and always spent time with her, playing video games and telling her stupid jokes.

He told her that she was brought to their house when she fourteen by his adopted father and as her parents were known and she was never registered as their sister because she wanted to keep her heritage alive.

Sometime she felt irritated that he only thought of her like a sister... She waited for his texts whole day and giggled while thinking of him.

She was standing in front of the vanity table doing a little makeup. Jiang Qinqin said he had a surprise for her today that he was sure she will love.

'THUD!!'

The room was bust open by a loud thuding as the door hit the wall. Lu Xinyi was startled and jumped in fright and snapped her head to the front door.

Only to see a woman with a jaw dropping beauty in her early twenties looking at her with widened eyes and beside her was a young man in his late teens with a hipster style looking at her with equally shocked expressoins.

"LEI XINYI!! You b*tch!"

Before Lu Xinyi could react or say anyting the gorgeous woman ran toward her and slapped her hard across the face and immediately hugged her after, suffocating the life out of her. Her actions left Lu Xinyi speechless.

After Lu Xinyi felt like she was going to faint she let her go. Lu Xinyi saw tear br.i.m.m.i.n.g in the woman's eyes. Lu Xinyi was dumbfounded.

She had slapped her and she was the one crying. Her cheek still sting, she was sure it would leave a bruise.

The young man came forward and hugged her too. He wasn't as monsterous as the woman and whispered, "Xinyi, I am soo happy that you are alright."

When he released her Lu Xinyi stepped away from both of them in fright and confusion.

"Wh...Who are you guys" Lu Xinyi asked anxiously in bewilderment.

The woman scoffed and seemed infurated by her words and ready to pounce on her when the young man held her back.

"You don't remember me?! You b*tch! You had the audacity to disappear on us like then behave like that then act like that you don't even know us?!" Su Qing shouted.

He Zheng held her back and said teasingly, "Don't act like a mad woman, Su Qing."

He turned to Lu Xinyi and said with a playful smile, "Although your medical reports confirm that you really lost your memories, I don't think it is beyond you to fake it. We just love you so we are concerned..."

Looking at them shocked Lu Xinyi muttered, "You guys have a toxic kind of way to love."

He Zheng chuckled and went to sit on the couch in her room. Following him Lu Xinyi and Su Qing sat down too.

Lu Xinyi looked at them warily, "You are the surprise Brother Qin was talking about?"

"Brother Qin?! Wow..... Isn't ignorance a bliss?! You are calling that brute man with such a coy name!" Su Qing said rolling her eyes at her.

He Zheng ignored her and leaned toward Lu Xinyi, "What did you do to be allowed in Yu Youhan's personal Mansion that even his mother isn't allowed without permission?!"

Su Qing also leaned forward excitedly, "Yeah! Are you sleepimng with him?"

Lu Xinyi looked at them with a startled face, "No! G.o.d! Young Master Yu hadn't even visited me since I woke up from coma."

Su Qind shrugged her shoulder, "Then why are they treating you like this? There is nothing to be ashamed to be mistress of one of the most powerful men in the continent, don't you think? You don't need to hide it."

Lu Xiinyi looked at her with a furious glare and pouted, "They are keeping me here to protect me. I will never be anyone's mistress! Be he a Monarch or Emperor!"

Su Qing and He Zheng looked at each other and burst out laughing.

"Lei Xinyi, the people around you need protection. And as for being a mistress I don't really think you are Yu Youhan's type."

They spent the whole evening talking about stuff and doing meaningless banters. Lu Xinyi reaklized although they weren't polite or soft-spoken people they were blunt and bold but she liked their company.

They told her about their history of how they had been a family for years.

Lu Xinyi felt warmth in her heart at the good companies she had. The feeling was fulfilling knowing that somebody in the world cared about her and she was part of someone's thoughts.
