Hence, the two of them walked toward the group of students. However, before they could get close, the students dispersed and went their own ways.

“Let’s just get to cla.s.s first!” Mu Huan glanced at her watch. It was almost time for lessons.

The two of them arrived in the cla.s.sroom. Mu Huan at once became the recipient of many sympathetic glances as well as looks of disdain.

She walked up to a girl whom she was on rather good terms with and asked her what was going on.

The girl told her that in the process of the investigation, Professor w.a.n.g had written out a list of victims whom he had violated and submitted that to the school. Among those names was Mu Huan’s.

When Mu Huan heard this, her eyes were instantly set ablaze.

This Professor w.a.n.g was courting death!

“Freaking h.e.l.l! Is the man mental! A person like him wouldn’t even stand a chance touching a strand of your hair, and he has the audacity to say that he violated you!” Li Meng fumed when she heard this.

Professor w.a.n.g wouldn’t have known that it was Bao Junyan who conspired against him, and to an even lesser degree, that this criminal exposure had anything to do with her. Hence, it was not likely that he had deliberately included her name on the list as an act of spite to sully her reputation.

If it weren’t an act of revenge, then he must have had a reason for trying to ruin her reputation like this.

After all, like what the boys said, Professor w.a.n.g would try to think of ways to lighten his own criminal act, not add on to it unnecessarily!

She was only just thinking of seeking an opportunity to have a chat with him, but she didn’t expect the man would jump to his death!

At the news of his death, everyone in the cla.s.sroom ignored the lesson and ran out to have a look.

Mu Huan and Li Meng followed along.

Professor w.a.n.g had jumped from the school leader’s Office D on the thirteenth floor and died on the spot.

For some time, Li Meng felt shaken. Then, as though something suddenly came to mind, she said, “Xiao Huan, now that Professor w.a.n.g is dead, there is no way to prove your innocence!”
