It was actually still quite early in the morning at half-past six, but since it was summer, the sun had already come up at around five in the early morning, when everyone started their daily routine. He pushed open the door, seeing the bald boy from earlier sitting there at the table in the yard. The kitchen in Gu Xiqiao's house wasn't built into the actual house but was instead another small building by itself in the yard, and from the window, someone from the yard could see what was going on inside.
