Until now, Yang Shen had never one used the Primordial Nine Suns Qi or even tested it.

After all, the manual he read had specifically said that it takes a long time for the Primordial Nine Suns Qi to recover, and using too much of it would result in him being weakened.

Due to this, Yang Shen who possessed exactly 72 strands of Primordial Nine Suns Qi inside his dantian decided to wait for a while before he tested them.

But who knew that by just using 3 strands of the blazing red Qi his Level 5 Artifact would be melted and a Low Grade Profound Beast would be roasted from the inside out.

Pulling his hand back by instinct since that was the natural reaction when seeing fire, Yang Shen only after a while sensed that his hand hadn't been burned despite being inside the fire.

Stretching his hand and touching the burning tree and causing the flames surrounding it to turn more violent due to coming in contact with the few more wisps of the Primordial Nine Suns Qi left behind on his palm, Yang Shen showed a peculiar look since the flames felt warm and comforting to his hand.

It was almost as if he was soaking under the early morning sun's warm rays.

"This… Is this because the Primordial Nine Suns Qi belongs to me… Or am I immune to fire due to technique?"

Questioning himself on whether the same thing would happen if he tried to touch an ordinary fire and not caused by his bright red Qi, Yang Shen looked towards the puddle of metal which was once his spear.

Walking away from the burning tree and watching the flame disappear soon after all that was left behind was ash, Yang Shen took the scorched body inside his inventory and sold it to the system.

Sighing in relief upon seeing that he obtained a total of 400 Points from selling the corpse which was similarly twice of what he received from selling the Silver Back Ape, Yang Shen guessed that he would obtain full Points regardless of what state the corpse was in.

'Hmmmm… Maybe I won't receive the full points if the corpse isn't full?'

Making a note inside his head that he should try selling half a corpse to the system in the future, Yang Shen who now had enough Qi to upgrade his cultivation from Level 8 to Level 9 began searching for a place to seclude himself in and upgrade his cultivation.

Spending a total of 23,400 XP to upgrade his cultivation a total of nine times and bring him to the 9th Level of Qi Gathering Realm, Yang Shen was left with a measly 240 XP.

Maybe it was because he had reached the peak of Qi Gathering Realm and therefore needed more XP to breakthrough and enter the Golden Core Realm.

Given how 3 strands of them were enough to melt a Level 5 Artifact and thoroughly roast the Black Ice Tiger King, and how he wasn't feeling any weaker than he did after exhausting the white Qi inside him, Yang Shen understood that he could start using the red Qi and figure out everything about it.

Well, maybe he should wait and see how long it would take for the three strands of used Qi to recover before he started using more of it.

Thinking about this, Yang Shen who knew how much Qi used every time he executed the Dragon Pierces the Void understood that a single strand of the Primordial Nine Suns Qi was equivalent to at least a few thousand strands of the white Qi.

And this was purely on the basis of quant.i.ty. If you started comparing their qualities, one was like heaven while the other was lower than earth.

In fact, it was a bit too powerful due to which Yang Shen now no longer possessed a weapon.
