Chapter 546: Ja.n.u.s coming to Earth

The Second King was also killed by Ryder, who was now lying on his body without a head.

Gander looked back at Aluren with an embarra.s.sed look on his face.

"I guess the receptionist is right. Ryder probably drove through here when he activated his phone for a minute, and I thought that he was here," he said, hitting his head in embarra.s.sment.

Aluren didn't say anything as he turned back to leave.

The first King, however, said something.

"I am really disappointed in you," he said as he also left.

"If we believe that he was pa.s.sing through here, then it might be possible that he is back. He would most probably be going back to his home," Aluren said.

The luxury car once again started moving as it was taken back to the Shu Estate.

"Do you see anyone near him?" The G.o.ddess of Life asked.

"No. The G.o.d of s.p.a.ce, fortunately, isn't near him. That's good," Ja.n.u.s answered.

The G.o.ddess of Life was about to say anything when she stopped as she saw someone else entering Ja.n.u.s' domain.

Ja.n.u.s stopped his spell before he turned back to see who had arrived.

"G.o.ddess of Destiny? What brought you here?" Ja.n.u.s asked as he looked at the beautiful-looking woman.

"Ja.n.u.s, I am here to ask for your help. I have already talked about this with other G.o.ds, and I believe it's the right decision. Only you can do this," the G.o.ddess of Destiny said before she glanced at the G.o.ddess of Life.

"What are you doing here, though?" She asked.

"What help do you need?" Ja.n.u.s asked the G.o.ddess of Destiny.

"Have you heard the news about the appearance of the Lord of s.p.a.ce on Earth?" The G.o.ddess of Destiny asked.

"Yeah, I heard. What about it?" Ja.n.u.s asked.

The G.o.ddess of Destiny looked at Ja.n.u.s as she sighed. "You know about the trials as well."

"The sons of seven G.o.ds are on earth, trying to go through the trial uninterrupted. The Lord of s.p.a.ce appearing there could disturb it. But we all can't go there to search for him. It would be hard for us too, because of his Heaven's Shroud and more so because our sons are there, we shouldn't go down."

"So the Seven of us have decided to send someone else in our place to find the Lord of s.p.a.ce and to invite him to the G.o.d Realm," she said.

"Why me? Other than you seven, there are more G.o.ds," Ja.n.u.s said, expressionless. In his mind, he was happy.

He wanted to accept this offer since this allowed him to go down to earth officially, without raising any eyebrows or attracting any suspicions on why he went there.

"You have the necessary skills needed for this. Moreover, the Lord of s.p.a.ce is a bit hard-headed. He has known you for a long time since he was the friend of your brother. You two go long back. He would certainly not be upset if you ask him to come back. If someone else does this, I'm not too sure," she added.

"That's true. He might be angry and think that you guys are trying to control him. He is a free soul, after all. I would help you this time," Ja.n.u.s said as he nodded without much expression.

"We are really grateful. So when are you going to earth?" G.o.ddess of Destiny asked.

"I will go as soon as I can. Within a few hours since, I also wanted to experience the earth which Lord of s.p.a.ce is seeing," Ja.n.u.s replied.

"I'll be preparing a few things now. You can leave," he told the G.o.ddess of Destiny.

As Ja.n.u.s watched her leave, a smile appeared on his face. He was going to go to earth.
