Jiang Feng used his not-so-good English to converse with Hesland while they were on the way.

The driver did not say anything at all.

After half an hour, Hesland looked at the surroundings and realized that they were surrounded by abandoned factories and a dock. She then asked the driver curiously, “Hey, this is not the way to Chinatown. Did you take a wrong turn somewhere?”

The driver said in surprise, “No, I followed the GPS. It could be that the roads are under maintenance so they can’t be used.”

If there were too many taxis around, he might get in the wrong car and not this one that was b.o.o.by-trapped. If there was only one taxi, he had to take the ride whether he liked it or not.
