In the kitchen, Zuo Weiyi was looking for some ingredients in the fridge.

“Prepare the ingredients slowly. I’m going out to buy something.”

“Buy what?”

“Seasoning for Zhong Shenghao.”

Zuo Weiyi frowned.

She looked at the various seasonings on the kitchen counter. There was no lack of them.

While she was confused, s.h.i.+ Yuting had already left.

He said to Zhong Shenghao, “Help me keep an eye on her. I’m going out for a while.”

“What are you doing?” he asked casually.

s.h.i.+ Yuting curled his lips. “Buying condiments.”

“Oh.”

Zhong Shenghao only looked away after Yuting’s figure completely disappeared at the door.

He wondered if it was his imagination, but why did he feel that Yuting’s smile just now was a little strange?

‘Forget it, I’d better go check on the ingredients that Weiyi is preparing.’

“I went to see Grandpa and Mommy!” As she spoke, she heard sounds from the kitchen. “Is Sister-in-Law in the kitchen?”

“Yes.”

“I’ll go and take a look!”

As soon as she entered the kitchen, she saw that Zuo Weiyi had already washed and cut the ingredients.

“Wow, Sister-in-Law, are you going to cook noodles again?” Nuannuan still had an aftertaste of the noodles she had eaten the last time!

“Yes.” Zuo Weiyi smiled at her. “You’re back.”

Twenty minutes later, s.h.i.+ Yuting came back.

Zuo Weiyi’s noodles were just about ready.

Four bowls of steaming, fragrant noodles were out of the pot. Just looking at them made people drool.

In the living room, Zhong Shenghao couldn’t help but rush into the dining room. The bowls, chopsticks, and noodles were already set up.

s.h.i.+ Yuting and Zuo Weiyi’s seats were fixed, and s.h.i.+ Nuannuan had always sat opposite to Zuo Weiyi, so Zhong Shenghao’s seat was naturally next to Nuannuan’s.

When he sat down, Zhong Shenghao was surprised to find that his bowl was actually bigger than the others’.

He couldn’t help but look up with a hint of joy in his eyes. “This is…”

“Your sister-in-law is rewarding you. Eat it,” s.h.i.+ Yuting said without batting an eyelid. After saying that, he picked up his chopsticks and started eating.
